Today I am creating a journal to chronicle my efforts in the realm of publication. Boy, what a job! I guess I could find all the rejections I already have for this, but that seems bragadocious. To have been rejected so many times isn't something I want to rejoice about. Day before yesterday, I submitted "The Traffic Light" to Glimmer Train. I should receive a response in three months. I really need to get the money together to subscribe to Glimmer Train. After all, it is one of the few places that accepts lots of short stories and focuses on fiction. But it costs money. Now I have editing to do on "As a Man Thinketh." And I want to work on "Sweet Victory." These are related to publication, too. I can't publish until things are written and edited. |
