                                      Lorna's Life and Times

I am a romantic at heart.  I love the classic songs and quite a few of the new ones, like Boy George, John Mellencamp and Journey.  I was 19 before I made love, and he was gentle and sweet and five years older than I was.

Glory Road
A story of the first time.
by Lorna Dune

Now I am with the man of my dreams, we help each other and that is the foundation of our relationship.  I love him deeply and I accept the fact that he has MS just as he accepts that fact that I have back and memory problems.  We where friends first, so the foundation is solid.

her life and dreams were rearranged,
and she would never be the same again.

This girl tasted love, as tender as the
        chance of dawn.
Our hearts told her we were right,
and on that sweet and velvet night,
a child had died and a woman had
        been born.

This girl is a woman now, she’s
        learned how to give……”

I write my blog as a memory tool and to remind myself of just how very short life can be.
