Ephesians 1: 7
In whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace.

Praise God that through Jesus' blood, our sins are forgiven. I know I fail God everyday. He forgives us no matter what we do wrong. Through our belief in Jesus, our sins are forgiven. No matter how hard we try, at some point in the day, Satan makes us stumble. He tries his best to draw us away from God. I am so glad that we have Jesus to by our side, to keep Satan from succeeding.

Forgive me Lord for my sins
I fail you everyday, it never ends

I have done things, that are so wrong
Through your forgiveness, you make me strong

Forgive me Lord, for not saying thank you, for all the blessings you give
Dear Lord, have mercy on this sinner's soul, as long as I live

Forgive me, for not helping others along the way
Give me courage, make me strong, so I can tell others of your love everyday

Forgive me Dear Father, I have failed you completely
Many times, I do it over and over, I am sure it hurts you deeply

Forgive me Lord, for wandering away from the fold
And for not doing your will, as I was told

Forgive me Lord, for my sins, when I repent
Let the rest of my life, for you be spent

Forgive me God in Heaven, and let me follow you
To your plans for me, I want to always be true




 

And may the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God, and into the patient waiting for Christ.
2 Thessalonians 3:5

Today, I want to focus on the love that God has for us. He has shown it time and time again. How many times do we take the time to Thank Him. Let us send up praise to God daily. He has given us mercy, that we do not deserve. He has extended forgiveness over and over, for sins that we commit daily. He showed His love for us by sending His only Son Jesus Christ. Let us shout God's praise to the world, let us tell them what Jesus Christ has done in our life. That He turned our heart of stone to be filled with love and forgiveness. That He paid the price for our sins. Let us be thankful and grateful daily. To tell everyone what God has done for us. That He can do the same for them if they accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior. We want to make sure we do this mission with love, not to boast. That we are sinners that are forgiven by the blood of Jesus Christ. We need to remind ourselves that we sin everyday, that God forgives us because Jesus covered our sins with His blood. Let us praise God for having a home to live in, running water, we have clean clothes, food on our table, and clothes on our backs. Oh and let us not forget a bed to sleep in, and we are warm at night. See we have so much to be thankful for. Let us not forget to lift our eyes to heaven, and thank God daily for all blessings we have received.

Father, we know many days we forget to thank You
For all the many blessing You give and all You do

Father, we are grateful for all that we have been given
I want to bring praise to Your name as long as I am living

I want to Thank You Father for meeting our every need
I want to Thank You daily for being merciful and loving indeed

You have showed more love and mercy than I have ever known
Your loved us before we were ever born, and even more when we are grown

Thank You Father, for all the wonderful blessings that we have received
In Your love and mercy, Your only Son Jesus Christ was conceived

Father, Thank You, for everything
Your love makes our heart sing
 

Psalms 34:18-19
18. The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.
19. Many are the afflictions of the righteous:but the LORD delivereth him out of all of them.

Have you ever encountered someone who seems so happy and go lucky on the outside? They give the appearance that everything is fine. But then one day you see them crying, tears rolling down their face. They tell you that their heart is broken, since their loved one has passed away. That they put on an act, so that others will think all is well. They are laughing on the outside, but crying on the inside. Many times people may lose their job, their home, they may lose a spouse to divorce, so many problems arise that cause heart break. We need to be watching and asking others how they are doing. They may need someone to talk with. Just because everything seems fine, doesn't always mean that it is. If we know that a person has suffered a personal crisis we need to let them know that we are there if they need to talk. We don't want to pry, just let them know that someone cares if they ever need to talk. We can also offer to pray with them, regardless we just need to let them know we are there. Many friends and family members suffer from depression, they really need to know that they can depend on us when they need a friend. Sometimes all a person needs is just for someone to sit and listen to them. They may need a shoulder to cry on, or just a hug. Sometimes they need our prayers, and require nothing more. God knows when a heart is breaking, He will give them comfort. Let us always pray for others, when we go to God in prayer. So that they can also remember us in their prayers

Suffering From A Broken Heart

Lord, I know there are many around us that have broken hearts
Loved ones have died, and it has torn their world completely apart

Let us be a friend in their time of need
Let us show compassion to them indeed

Let us show kindness, and be there for them
Tell them of Jesus, so they can depend on Him

Lord, gives us the words to speak to help them out
So that to praises in heaven they can truly shout

Let us lend a shoulder if they need to cry
Let us give comfort, to help others let us always try

Father, we can go to You in prayer, when there is nothing else we can do
We can lift them up in prayer, and leave the rest of the work to You



 

James 1:2-4
2 My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; [1] 3 Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. 4 But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.

I know I truly dread, when things take a turn for the worst in my life. Many times I am filled with dread. I hate thinking about what is ahead. The rough trials in life, make us appreciate the happy times more. Trials and tribulations test our faith, and in the process bring us closer to God. As I have gotten older, I have come to realize that there are joy in small things everyday. Trials make us appreciate all the many things that God has blessed us with. It makes us less likely, to take things and people for granted. Let us rejoice even when trials bring us to our knees. God will carry us through, and help us grow in His love. When things start getting bad, let us read our bible and continue to pray daily. With God on our side, we can endure all things. It doesn't mean it will be easy, but God will help us make it through all events in our life. Just when things get really bad, He will completely turn everything around. No matter what we are facing today, God will help us grow. He will help us mature through trials and suffering. He will one day use our experience to His glory. So when things get real bad, let us turn to God in prayer, He will give us sweet relief.

Father, we know that You have a detailed plan for our life
Just like Your plan fell into place with Your Son Jesus Christ

You are shaping and molding us in the way You see fit
You carry us on the days, when we take a hard hit

Father, You know all the things that we go through
They help us learn and grow, and help us depend on You

Many days our faith is tested and tried, by trials that we face
Father, that is when I am truly reminded of Your mercy and grace

Father, You use moments in our life to help us grow in Your way
To strengthen our faith, to use us for Your glory one grand day
 

Psalm 118
1O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: because his mercy endureth for ever.

2Let Israel now say, that his mercy endureth for ever.

3Let the house of Aaron now say, that his mercy endureth for ever.

4Let them now that fear the LORD say, that his mercy endureth for ever.

5I called upon the LORD in distress: the LORD answered me, and set me in a large place.

6The LORD is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me?

7The LORD taketh my part with them that help me: therefore shall I see my desire upon them that hate me.

8It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.

I look at these verses and I am so grateful for God's mercy.Could you imagine if God no longer believed in us? That He knew that we were going to mess up everyday of our life. He just gave up on us, and quit believing that He could truly make a change in us. That one day He would be able to use us for His glory. Could you imagine if God threw up His hands, and said that I am done helping you. I could never imagine my life without God in it daily. Just think how God feels, when we turn from Him at times. We leave Him out of many decisions, and many times we exclude Him from our daily life. Then we rush to His arms when all things have fallen apart. We then expect Him to fix everything. That is why we are so grateful that God doesn't give up on us. He knows that we have potential and just has to be patient. God has mercy on us, and accepts us daily for the sinners that we are. I am thankful that God never leaves our side. That His mercy endures even when we fail. Praise God for His love for us, and I truly Thank Him, for sending Jesus Christ to die for our sins.

Father, Thank You, for never giving up on me
Without Your mercy, where would I truly be

Thank You Father, for being by our side
Wiping the many tears that we have cried

Thank You Father, for believing in me, even though I fail
Thank You for Your undying love, all through life it will prevail

Thank You for never giving up on me
You are filled with mercy and love I can see

Thank You Father, for sending Jesus Christ
So that we could receive eternal life

I am thankful that You never give up on me
Only by Your mercy, grace, and love we are free

 

Romans 5:1-9
5:1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:

5:2 By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

5:3 And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;

5:4 And patience, experience; and experience, hope:

5:5 And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.

5:6 For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.

5:7 For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die.

5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

5:9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.

As I read across these verses, it makes me realize that we would not have forgiveness, if Jesus Christ had not died for our sins. Jesus gives us hope, through our faith in Him. He died for our sins, let us rejoice daily and give praise to His name. He saved our soul from hell. Let us tell the world that we are forgiven, only because Jesus died on the cross for all sinners. Let us get busy telling the world about Jesus. There are many who don't have the hope that we have through Jesus Christ. There are many who do not know Jesus Christ. That through His blood their sins can be forgiven. That by accepting Him their debt has been paid. They don't have the peace of knowing if they died today, that their home in heaven is secured. Let us strive to get the message to the lost, that Jesus forgives our sins, when we accept and believe in Him. We are forgiven only because Jesus took our place. God had mercy on all sinners, and sent Jesus Christ as the only ATONEMENT for our sins.

Father, I Thank You, for the peace that we have been given
Our sins are white as snow, only because of Jesus are they forgiven

Only through Jesus Christ, are our sins forgiven
Let me tell this to the world as long as I am living

Let us strive to seek and find the lost
To tell them Jesus paid the ultimate cost

Let us tell them how Jesus can save them today
If they will just believe and accept Him all the way

Father, Thank You, for Your mercy, grace, and love
By You sending Jesus we can have a home above

It is nothing that we have done
It is only by God's only Son
 

Isaiah 49:14-16
14But Zion said, The LORD hath forsaken me, and my Lord hath forgotten me.

15 Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee.

16 Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands; thy walls are continually before me.

Sometimes when things fall apart in our life, we feel that God has forgotten us. It is during these times that we have to remember, that God is carrying us in His arms. He has not forgotten us, He is just holding us when we are too weak to stand. Just when we look around, God shows us His power. He shows us in our most desperate times, that He is with us. When friends, family, and the rest of the world have given up on us, God has not forgotten us. He will be there in our darkest hour, even though some times we don't realize it. He is beside us every step that we make in life. Just like the footprints in the sand poem, He carried us when we could no longer make it. So when we notice just one set of footprints, let us remember, that God has carried us that last mile. Just like stated in these verses, a mother can forget her child. But we are God's children, and He will never forsake us. So when the world seems against us, remember God is for us. No matter what goes on in our life, God is always faithful and true. He will always be there for me and you. When times get tough, He will make a way to bring us through it all.

Father, I know that You have not forgotten me
You sent Jesus Christ, to set this sinner free

I know that You will forget us not
You are with us when we are on the spot

You will embrace us in the worst of times
You will be with us, when everything is fine

No matter what we may face each day
Lord, You are truly with us all the way

Father, when we see only one set of prints
We will know that in Your arms that time was spent

That You carried us when we could no longer stand
That You led us and took us by the hand

That You showed us the way we needed to go
You have not forgotten us, You love us so
 

Abraham, who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be. And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sara's womb: He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God; And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.
Romans 4:18-21

I know many times in our life, our faith has really been tested. That as we go through trials, sorrows, and grief, our faith becomes small. But just as we think we have fallen by the way, God renews our strength. He helps us through every event in our life. He craddles us in His arms, and reassures us that all will be ok. Through Him being with us, our faith is strenghtened also. He shows us by example that He will never leave us. Through happiness, heartbreak, and grief we couldn't have a better friend. God is with us, Jesus stated I am with you always, and is true to His word. At times our faith may be tested, it may be small at times. God will show us the way, and He will help our faith grow in His love. We just have to remember God's promises. He will never leave us, and in His time all things will be done. So when our faith seems so small, let us give God the glory for all that He has done, and keep believing and knowing that God will deliver on His word.

Father, many times our faith is so small
Then we remember You will not let us fall

Father, forgive us when we are filled with doubt
Through You there is always a way out

Help strengthen us daily, for what the day may hold
Let us hold onto Your promises, which the bible told

Father, when our faith is tested and tried
Let us focus on how Jesus was crucified

That we will experience suffering and pain
That strengthening of our faith is our gain

That Your promises stand for ever and ever
That You are with us always, and will leave us never
 

Luke 8:49-56
49. While he yet spake, there cometh one from the ruler of the synagogue's house, saying to him, Thy daughter is dead; trouble not the Master. 50 But when Jesus heard it, he answered him, saying, Fear not: believe only, and she shall be made whole. 51 And when he came into the house, he suffered no man to go in, save Peter, and James, and John, and the father and the mother of the maiden. 52 And all wept, and bewailed her: but he said, Weep not; she is not dead, but sleepeth. 53 And they laughed him to scorn, knowing that she was dead. 54 And he put them all out, and took her by the hand, and called, saying, Maid, arise. 55 And her spirit came again, and she arose straightway: and he commanded to give her meat. 56 And her parents were astonished: but he charged them that they should tell no man what was done.
These verses were so fitting to the story I heard on K-Love today. They were telling how a man collapsed outside his garage, and they took him to the hospital, and doctors pronounced him dead. The funeral home came and picked him up, and his wife followed. She ask for them to get her husband's necklace off. When the funeral director went to take off the man's necklace, he realized he was still breathing. They called for an ambulance, and the man walked out of the hospital a short time later. He said the funeral director gave him a whole new outlook on life. God shows us in different ways how to appreciate life. Many times we have been given a second chance, and we need to make the most of it. God tries to open our eyes when we are blind, to open our ears to hear what He is trying to tell us. He wants us to open our heart, and love others the way that He has loved us. Many times He does miracles like this to show us, that He is still at work even in this day and time. He shows us that there is hope, no matter what each day may hold. By faith we can make it through anything, especially with God by our side. So just when we think everything seems hopeless, let us remember all that God has done, and continues to do. His power is amazing and He will show us what He can do each and everyday if we just believe and keep the faith.

Father, Thank You for showing us all the things that You can do
That with You Father, all things are possible, You will see us through

That no matter what we may face
You will help us to continue the race

You will open our eyes and ears
You will contain all of our fears

You will watch over us when times are tough
You will shelter us when the waves are rough

Father, Thank You for the miracles in life
The greatest being Your Son Jesus Christ

Father, Thank You, for opening our hearts
Filling them with love right from the start

Thank You, for opening our eyes when we are blind
That miracles You perform even in this day and time











 

1 John 5:4
For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.

Recently I was watching a special presentation on the news. It was telling of the failing housing market. They reported about 2.4 million families have lost their homes to foreclosure, in the past two years. That number is expected to double in the next few years. Many people are losing their jobs, due to the uncertainties of the economy. Everything being unstable is causing a domino effect. In such times like this, it is great to know one foundation remains strong, Jesus Christ. No matter what we may face, or trials that we go through, Jesus will remain by our side. We must keep the faith that God will carry us through all adversity. Through our faith in Jesus Christ, we will win the victory. By keeping God's commandments and believing in Jesus, we can win the victory in any battle. Great faith is the key to getting through any and all situations. Jesus will be with us no matter what obstacles we face in life. God will provide our every need, we must keep the faith and pray believing God will deliver us through all things.

Great Faith

When we become weighed down with worry and strife
Let us go to Jesus in prayer, put Him in charge of our life

When it seems like we are lost in the sea of doubt
Call out to Jesus, give Him a loud humble shout

Through great faith we can win the battle, and declare victory
Only because Jesus Christ died because He loved you and me

When trials and troubles bring us down
Call out to Jesus, He is always around

Keeping the faith, will definitely help win the war
Jesus overcame the world, He lives forever more

In our weakest moments, remember Jesus is strong
No matter what we face, we are never really alone

No matter what our battle, through Jesus we can win
He can do all things, He won the battle over sin

Keep the faith and carry on
Jesus Christ will keep you strong
