Matthew 7:1-5
1.Judge not, that ye be not judged. 2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. 3 And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye? 4 Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye? 5 Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.
Sometimes it is so hard not to judge others. Things are said in anger, and we find fault with the person who has spoke the words of hurt. Then we have to take our focus off of that person, and examine ourselves. To remember that we are all sinners, and that God is the judge, we are not to judge others regardless. If we judge others for random acts that they have committed, we ourselves will be judged by God, for judging others. Let us take a good look at our life, and realize we have been just as guilty of speaking words of hurt, disgust, words that have cut a person to their very heart. Let us work on trying to mend the hurts that we have caused, and to pray for the person that has caused us pain. Forgiveness is the greatest gift that we have ever received, and it is only through Jesus Christ that we have been forgiven. So to be the judge of others is wrong, we need to judge ourselves and reflect on the problems that we cause. We need to work on those areas in our life, to reflect on not causing others pain. We need to pray for God to help us each day to examine ourselves, and work on removing our own beam from our eye, and not judge others around us. Basically we need to leave the judging of others out of our life entirely. If we want to judge something, let it be the decisions we make daily. On how we may handle things, to consult with God and how we should respond to events that happen each day.
Dear God in Heaven, help us not to judge others
It is not our job, to judge our sisters and brothers
Father, help us to work on removing the beam in our own eye
For us not to judge other, that urge we need to completely deny
Father, help us to examine our own life
To focus on forgiveness through Jesus Christ
It is not our place to ever judge, we need to encourage
Not to judge and speak words that will discourage
Father, let us reflect on hurts that we have done
To ask forgiveness through Your only Begotten Son
Let us work on areas in our life that are lacking
To tell others of Jesus, in areas that we are slacking
Let us replace judging others, by loving them
To tell them about Jesus, that life is all about Him
Father, help us to watch the words that roll off our tongue
That they will be our love, words of Your only Begotten Son
