John 1:1-9

10:1 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.

10:2 But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep.

10:3 To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out.

10:4 And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice.

10:5 And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers.

10:6 This parable spake Jesus unto them: but they understood not what things they were which he spake unto them.

10:7 Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep.

10:8 All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them.

10:9 I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture

As we go through everyday life, I know many times we push Jesus to the side. We get busy with so many things and we leave Him out. As a new year approaches let us strive to get busy reading our bible and putting Jesus back into our daily life. There is no possible way for us to tell the lost about Jesus if we are not applying his love in our heart daily. There is no way that we can reach out to the lost, when we are leaving Jesus out of our very own lives. No many times it is not intentional, but gradually we cast Him aside for other things. Jesus is the Shepherd, the only way to receive eternal life. We must follow Him daily. So that we can walk the path and direction that God would have us to go. Let us not stray from Jesus, let us make Him number ONE in our life. If we accomplish this mission we can never go wrong. He will show us things that are beyond our imagination. He can take us to new heights. God can use our life to bring praise and glory to His holy name. God needs His sheep now more than ever, to reach the lost. If we stray He can't use us to help others. Let us make it our goal to walk closer to Jesus everyday. Notice I didn't say resolution, we need to strive to make sure daily that we keep our promise to follow Jesus. To put Him in first place not last. Then He can lead us, and use us to God's glory.

Father, I know in doing Your work I am slacking
The get up and go, many times I am lacking

Father, let us follow Jesus Christ all the way
To let Him show us how to live each day

Father, let us place You as number ONE and not last
To be on fire for You, and put our lazy ways in the past

Father, show us the way we need to go
Let us live for Jesus Christ, in our life let it show

Father, let us read our bible everyday
It is our weapon to keep Satan at bay

Father, help me strengthen my walk with You
To talk with You in everything we may do
 

Luke 2:25-35 (King James Version)

25And, behold, there was a man in Jerusalem, whose name was Simeon; and the same man was just and devout, waiting for the consolation of Israel: and the Holy Ghost was upon him.

26And it was revealed unto him by the Holy Ghost, that he should not see death, before he had seen the Lord's Christ.

27And he came by the Spirit into the temple: and when the parents brought in the child Jesus, to do for him after the custom of the law,

28Then took he him up in his arms, and blessed God, and said,

29Lord, now lettest thou thy servant depart in peace, according to thy word:

30For mine eyes have seen thy salvation,

31Which thou hast prepared before the face of all people;

32A light to lighten the Gentiles, and the glory of thy people Israel.

33And Joseph and his mother marvelled at those things which were spoken of him.

34And Simeon blessed them, and said unto Mary his mother, Behold, this child is set for the fall and rising again of many in Israel; and for a sign which shall be spoken against;

35(Yea, a sword shall pierce through thy own soul also,) that the thoughts of many hearts may be revealed

As I read this passage, it shows Gods love for all. That Simeon was told by the Holy Spirit that he would not see death, until he seen Jesus Christ, God's salvation for the world. Even as a baby Jesus was blessing others. God was showing the world of the promise He had made. He had kept His promise of sending His only Son Jesus Christ, to save this world of sinners. Without the arrival of Jesus Christ, none of us would have been able to be saved. Through Jesus Christ we have received the greatest gift of love ever. Let us follow Jesus Christ, and accept Him into our life and heart. To follow His will daily, and live our life according to God's will. Let us not be picky about the jobs that we do for God, let us be willing to do all that God wants and needs us to do. Not just a little job every now and then. We need to submit completely to Him. To walk daily with Jesus, and consult with our Father in Heaven, on what direction He needs us to go. To wait on God to answer, and not jump into something that God would not want us to be a part of.

Father, let us announce Jesus Christ to the world in our daily life
Let us tell everyone that is lost to accept Your Son Jesus Christ

To follow Jesus all the days of our life, and to tell of His wonderful story
To tell everyone that we see about Your love, and to You always be the glory

Father, let us follow You all the way
Lead our path every single day

Father, to Your will let us submit
Let us never give up and just quit

Father, we need to let You have complete control
To lead us in life, and to take care of our soul
 

Luke 1:26-37 (King James Version)

26And in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee, named Nazareth,

27To a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin's name was Mary.

28And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women.

29And when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, and cast in her mind what manner of salutation this should be.

30And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God.

31And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS.

32He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David:

33And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.

34Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man?

35And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.

36And, behold, thy cousin Elisabeth, she hath also conceived a son in her old age: and this is the sixth month with her, who was called barren.

37For with God nothing shall be impossible

I love this passage, for it is announcing the birth of Jesus Christ. The angel appears to Mary, telling her that she has found great favor with God. Truly Mary would have been very scared. But she was willing to do God's will. What an honor for Mary to be the mother of God's only Son Jesus Christ. That she had found such favor in God's sight. I love the part that where the angel tells Mary that her cousin Elisabeth, who was on up in years, would soon have a child. Elisabeth, had been known as barren in the womb, but with God leading the way, He showed that nothing is impossible with Him. Let us focus on this as Christmas approaches, when we feel overwhelmed let us slow down and focus on Jesus. That we celebrate Christmas Day, because we celebrate Jesus Christ's birth. Let us not worry and stress out over buying gifts. We need to remember that Jesus is the reason for the season. Enjoy peace,love, and joy during this season. Have a Merry Christmas everyone.

For this wonderful Christmas season

Don't rush around trying to find the perfect Christmas gift
Jesus Christ was born on this day,let that give our heart a lift

Don't let all the hustle and bustle drain your joy
Take time to focus, on God's perfect little Boy

Jesus was born to set us free
He came to this world for you and me

Let us put all things aside, and rejoice on Christmas Day
To celebrate that Jesus Christ, took all of our sins away
 

Luke 1:68-70 (King James Version)

68Blessed be the Lord God of Israel; for he hath visited and redeemed his people,

69And hath raised up an horn of salvation for us in the house of his servant David;

70As he spake by the mouth of his holy prophets, which have been since the world began:

As I read this, I am truly so thankful that it is telling that God filled the promise that He had made back in Abraham's time. Many years later, hundreds of years actually, God fulfilled His promise. That One would come that would save the world, through Him everyone who believes could receive salvation. I truly am grateful to God for giving His only Son Jesus Christ, to die for our sins. He came into this world, committed no sin, but died for our sins. I am so over joyed to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, because He is our Redeemer, our Savior, our Lord of Lord, and KING OF KINGS. To me Jesus is my everything. Because I owe everything to Him, because He saved my soul from Hell. Only by His blood, could I be cleansed. I want to celebrate Christmas, to celebrate His birth. Presents are not important, I have already received the greatest gift of all, salvation through Jesus Christ God's only begotten Son. Father, Thank You, for sending Your only Son, and Thank You for loving us so much. God is awesome, and to be praised. AMEN!

Father, You gave Your only Son die on Calvary
To save a wretched and lonely sinner like me

Father, You promised hundreds of years before He came
Over many years many prophets and believers knew His name

They preached and told others, that Jesus would one day arrive
That the lost by believing in Him, was the only way to survive

He was Heaven's perfect Lamb, sent to be sacrificed for our sins
He came to make us new, and our very souls to cleanse

Thank You Father, for loving us this much
Thank You for the moment, I received Jesus' touch

Thank You for sending Jesus to save us all
Thank You for the day, You sent Him to call

 

Ephesians 3:16
That He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might by His Spirit in the inner man.

We want to live our lives for God, but sometimes we become defiant. Inside we have the desire in our heart to do what God requires, and needs us to do. But on the outside we are influenced by the ways of the world. That is when God's strength comes into play, we must cling to Him daily so that He can strengthen us through His Spirit. To strengthen us to resist Satan's temptations, God can empower us through His Spirit with strength to truly live for Him. God can give us the faith, the will, and the enabling power to resist temptations that Satan places in our path. Through God we can have peace of mind, and the strength to face everyday problems in life.

Strength From God

Lord, let me place everything in Your hands
To let You strengthen me in things I need to understand

To let You make my life what it should be
To place love in my heart and set my spirit free

Your strength can help me truly soar
Through Your strength I can do so much more

Through the strength that You provide
I want You always to be my Guide

Father, strengthen me daily so my life can be pleasing to You
Strengthen me to work for You in all that we may do



 

John 14:6

6.Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
As Christmas time draws closer, let us remember, that Jesus is the Reason for the Season. That we celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior. We rejoice that He was born, and that He died for our sins. We celebrate that He arose on the Third Day. That Jesus came and died for our sins, so that you and I could go free. Jesus is the only way to receive eternal life. Jesus is the ONE AND ONLY WAY to receive forgiveness of our sins. We must be covered by His blood, the blood of the Lamb. We must believe that He is God's only Son sent to die on the cross, that He died for ALL SINNERS. Let us rejoice during this time, and to tell the world about Jesus Christ. There may be someone who does not know Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Let us tell the world of the greatest gift that has ever been given and received Jesus Christ. To tell our story of how Jesus saved our soul. That He brought us out of darkness, into the light of His love. Let us not focus on fancy decorations and expensive gifts. Let us tell everyone about the gift that will last forever, Jesus Christ.

Father, during the Christmas Season let us not lose sight
Why Jesus Christ was born in the stable that very night

He come in this world to save the lost
Least we not forget, He paid a high cost

Father, let us remember it is not about the gifts we receive
The most important thing is that in Jesus we have believed

Let us show and tell the world of the greatest gift of all
The day that Jesus answered our desperate, lonely call

That He saved our very soul, so that we could have eternal life
That from Your love, we received the greatest gift ever, Jesus Christ

Thank You Father, for sending Jesus to die for our sins
Thank You Father, that He arose, through Him life truly begins

That when we accept Him, life is truly a new beginning
One that is forever, and it has no ending

Psalm 27:5
For in the time of trouble He shall hide me in His pavilion: in the secret of His tabernacle shall He hide; He shall set me up upon a rock.

In our most trying times God is there. He is there through the storms of our lives. God is always true, no matter what goes on in our lives. God will always be there for me and you, regardless of what is happening in our lives. God is always true and will carry us through, when our load gets to heavy to bear.

God is True

God is true, He is always there
No matter what happens, He cares

Cleave unto God, when times in your life get rough
His love will surround you, when the going gets tough

God is true, in good times and bad
He will give you comfort, when you are sad

God is true no matter what your situtation
Even if you are facing Satan, and his temptations

God is true all the time
So upon on you, Let His light shine
