Isaiah 6:8
Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.

In a vision God talked with Isaiah, Asking who will go for us? Isaiah answered by saying Here I am, send me. God calls all of His children for some type of work. He has a job for all of us to do. Will we submit to His calling? Will our answer be Lord, send me? Or will we say Lord I am just so busy, can't you get someone else to take care of it? If we feel that God needs us to go for a certain job, then let us be willing to drop everything and pack up and say Lord here I am. He may have a small task that He needs us to, may be talking to someone in need. Telling a lost soul of Jesus Christ. Just to spread cheer in someones life that is lonely. God may need us to be a good neighbor and help someone in need. You just never know what a blessing it will be to our soul to help others. Let us be ready and willing, to follow where God needs us to go. Let us say Lord, I am here send me. God has blessed each of us with a talent or a gift, let us use it for His glory. Let God strengthen that talent and use it when He sees fit. Let our answer be Yes Lord, I will go, I am ready.

Lord, if You have a task for me to do
I want to follow Your plan all the way through

Thank You for letting me serve You
The plans You have for me I want to do

No matter if it is a little task
Lord I am here, just ask

Lord, lead me to Thy work
At my mission I will never smirk

Any job big or small
I will do it and stand tall

Lord, let me respond to Your call
Because Father, You are over all

You know my travel plans
My travel destination is in Your hands

Let my answer be Lord I am ready and willing
Because my soul You gave complete healing

 

James 5:11
11.Behold, we count them happy which endure. Ye have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the end of the Lord; that the Lord is very pitiful, and of tender mercy.

In the last few weeks I have been taking a stroll down memory lane. Trying to review what has taken place, in some manner trying to make sense of it all. I know that God is preparing our life for a journey that He has planned. Sometimes it feels like it is taking a really long time to get to the journey that God has planned. Then I came across this verse in James and realize, God is preparing us daily. He has many things that we must learn. We must be patient, and let God lead to where we need to be. There will be many storms and tribulations that we will endure, but Jesus Christ will be right by our side. God in Heaven will guide and direct us daily. He will give us instructions on what to do, and will reveal in His time alone. I know that we must endure and not focus on sad events so much. We have to let God move us ahead in the journey that He needs us to take. We must let go of the past, and focus on today.

Father, I know You will help us endure problems in this life
You sent Your only Son to show us the way, bless be Jesus Christ

No matter what things have come to past
You are the ONE who knows how long this journey will last

Father, many times we get so tired and sad
When so many things go wrong and turn bad

You are always there to guide our path and show us the way
You show us the beautiful sunrise at the dawn of each new day

We must cling to You no matter what may arise
From You Father, our pain and grief we can not disguise

Father, as you prepare the journey we are to take
You pave the foundation for each step that we will make

Thank You Father, for showing us comfort and Your love
As You send us on our journey until we see You in Heaven above
 

Psalm 118:8
It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.

Many times we hear the expression I would trust them with my life. There may be someone in your own life that you would trust that well. I have someone that I trust that well, God in heaven. He plans our everyday, He is in charge of my whole day. I will trust Him more than anything or anyone with my life. My Father in heaven knew me before I was ever born. He loved us enough to send His only Son to die for our sins. There is no one else but God that I would trust with my life. Because I have given Him complete control over everything. He provides my every need, He knows the number or hairs on our head. So in the LORD I will place all my trust.

Trust In The Lord

Father, we put our life in Your hands
You count our needs, just like the grains of sand

Guide us this very day
Make our skies blue and not grey

Lord, in You we place our trust
If I didn't my world Satan would bust

To God I am more closer drawn
Without Him I couldn't make it on my own

God provides food for our table
To meet our needs, He is able

In God my trust I will keep
My faith in our Father runs deep

In God we place our trust where it belongs
My faith in God is very strong

We will place our trust in Him until our last breath
He will take care of us, even after death

 

Romans 11:34
FOR WHO HATH KNOWN THE MIND OF THE LORD? OR WHO HATH BEEN HIS COUNSELLOR?

If we take the time to look around, we can see God's great power everywhere. From miracles of healing someone's body, to the beautiful blue skies, with clouds that look like balls of cotton. One of God's powers that amazes me the most is the ocean, how it comes so far to land and stops at His command. God's power is great, I stand in awe when a storm with lightning strikes and lights up the sky. When I hear the thunder roar, I think of God's voice how in the bible that it sounds like thunder. From earthquakes to floods, God is in control of them all. Just like the changing of the seasons, God is very powerful and to be praised for all His wonderful works and majesty. God is full of power, He is also full of compassion and love for us sinners. God's mercy and grace was given to us, when He sent His only Son Jesus to die on the cross for our sins. God truly loves us, and He made it known. He made a way for all to receive salvation through His only Son.

God's Power

God is more powerful than anything I know
In His love He helps us grow

God can take all our problems, that seem so big to me
He wipes them all away, and sets our soul free

He tells the seasons when to change
His power amazes us, others find it strange

God controls the waves of the ocean
He controls how far it extends, and it's motion

God reigns supreme, He is full of grace
In times of trouble, He puts us in His embrace

When lightning and thunder begin to roll
God comforts us, when life takes it's toll

Our Father in heaven is full of power
On His children, His blessings He showers


 

Proverbs 3:5
Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

Ever had a decision that you had to make? That you tossed and turned in bed worrying about making the wrong decision. We worry about deadlines and pressure ourselves until we become weary. We exhaust our body and mind with all the options placed before us. We worry about making the wrong choice so much. Because we know the outcome can be bad. Let us not depend on our own ability, we need to let Jesus guide us in our decision making. To include Him in every decision that we make. To seek His advice and guidance in all that we do. Jesus is our compass He knows the direction we should take. If we have a decision that needs to be made we need to let Jesus be our Guide. Instead of depending on our own way of thinking, we need to let God guide the way, He will never steer us wrong.

I Choose To Let God Lead

Father, I choose to let You guide my path
To always protect me from Satan's wrath

To let You decide the direction I am to take
That decision Father, is for You to always make

Lord, guide me the way that You would have me go
The place that I end up, only my Father in Heaven knows

Father, take me by the hand and be my Guide
In Your loving arms let me forever abide

Let me not depend own my own understanding
I will let You make the decision when life is demanding

Let me follow the way that You would have me to take
Every decision on my life Father, is Yours to make

I trust You to lead my life, because You know my destination
Your only begotten Son Jesus Christ provided my salvation

Father, in You I place my trust each and everyday
Where I am to go only You know the way

 

1 Corinthians 3:11
Other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.

Many times we try to build a life that we think will be perfect for us. We build our life on hopes and dreams. Then later down the line everything is destroyed and taken away. After a time we realize that we were using the wrong foundation to build our dreams on. None of our foundations were truly strong. Then when we built our life on the true foundation, which is Jesus Christ things no longer seemed to wash away. Our feet are on solid ground, we find that our foundation is strong. That we are no longer drifting out to sea because we built our house on the sand. With Jesus as our true foundation we can truly weather any storm. Because Jesus is the Rock, the firm foundation on which to build our faith and life. Through Jesus Christ we receive salvation and the perfect foundation.

Solid As A Rock

Jesus is the perfect foundation
He is the solid Rock to salvation

Jesus is the perfect foundation on which to build
He is the foundation that makes Satan have to yield

At one time my house was built upon the sand
It was washing away until Jesus took my hand

Now my foundation is built on Jesus Christ
A firm foundation that will last for life

Put your foot on the Rock that will last forever
The foundation that will stand firm and stay together

So let us build our foundation on Jesus our Rock
Then our salvation is secure as a strong lock

It can't be broken and no one can take it away
With Jesus our foundation is firm and will always stay



 

2 Corinthians 4:16
For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.

Many situations occur in our life, some are discouraging and devastating. Sometimes our personal struggles, seem like they will never end. We may feel like we are about to give up. If we place our faith in God, our spirit will be renewed. We may feel like we are about to faint physically, but through God’s guidance we will never perish spiritually. Sometimes we may become bitter, and lash out in anger. If we put all our faith and trust in God, we can endure our trials in life. Real faith is trusting that God knows what is best. Real faith is also knowing God will walk us through every problem we face. So if you are in despair don’t give up, through our suffering God will deliver us. He renews is everyday, giving us the strength to go on.

Daily Renewal

Father, You renew our spirit everyday
Through our trials, by our side please stay

I know I lash out sometimes in anger
I know You will deliver me from all danger

Sometimes I throw my hands up in despair
I get frustrated, but I know You are always there

Then I am reminded, in You to place all my trust
To give all my problems to You, that is a must

Real faith is admitting, You know what is best
I put it all in Your hands, You will do the rest

I have the faith, that You will carry us if we faint
You will help us carry on, when we think we can’t

Father, forgive us when we begin to doubt
To You let us just go in prayer, and give a shout

Through Your love, anything we can face
You renew our spirit daily, with Your grace




 

Do you sometimes find yourself worrying about things?
Do you worry about how your bills will get paid?
Stop doing this, give everything to God.
He knows everything that you need, and will provide for you everyday.
Pray for Jesus to keep watch over you until He returns.
Everything that you need, He will make it His concern.
Stop doubting what God can do, place all your trust in Him.
Put God in complete control, let Him drive your life.
You will be more blessed than you could ever know.
You will have peace of mind, when you give God complete control.
Luke chapter 12 verse 7 Indeed, the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Do not fear; you are of more value than many sparrows.
verse 8 And I say to you,everyone who confesses Me before men, the Son of Man shall confess him also before the angels of God.

So let God have His place in your life, and let Jesus keep watch over you until He returns.Stop doubting what God can do. He will always take care of you no matter what.

Today, I am thankful that God let me awake to see another day. He has provided a place for our family to call home. He has provided air so that we can stay cool. The heat index has been 105 the last three days. He has let our car be mechanically incline. He helped us be able to help find clothes that was needed for school at a yard sale. God has done so much for us today, that we could write forever and forget to mention something. Let us take the time each day to remember and Thank God for all the things that He has done in our lives. This weeks number one Thank You To God is that my mother-in-law Barb got to leave the nursing home. Just three months ago, she almost died God is GREAT! He has done so much in our lives, and we want to give HIM THE PRAISE AND GLORY FOR EVERYTHING.

Father, Thank You, for the morning sun
Thank You for all the miracles You have done

Thank You Father, for letting us tell others of Your love
That we can tell others of Jesus, and His love from above

Thank You Father, for giving us another day
To tell others of what You have done along the way

Father, Your love just amazes me
That You loved us so much, and set us free

Father, Thank You for the air conditioning that You provide
When it is so miserable and muggy, we have cool air inside

You meet and surpass our every need in our life
You met our greatest need, by sending Jesus Christ

Thank You Father for saving our soul
One day we will walk the streets of gold

God has done so much for me just today
He is AWESOME AND GREAT, all along the way
 

Colossians 3:15
And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.

In the last few months, so many things have changed in our lives.So many loved ones have gone home to be with the Lord. It just seems like we are on a roller coaster that we can't get off of. Sometimes we just feel like it is a constant reminder, and that we will never get past the point of their death. We really haven't been able to grieve, because we have been hit by so many things. One thing that we know for sure, is that God will give us peace through our difficult times. We will give thanks unto Him for all the many blessings that He has bestowed upon our family. We know that He will carry us through everything that we are experiencing. He will give us comfort and peace no matter what we may face. So when the dark clouds begin to form, I will pray to God and the sunshine will come in. In times of distress let us go to God and give thanks and praise for all that He has done. To pray for peace inside, God can always give us comfort.

ALL I HAVE IS FROM GOD

All that I have in this life, I have received from God and no one else
Everything I have is by His hand, it is nothing I’ve done myself

God has provided everything I have needed, since the day I was born
He has provided my every need, down to the shoes I have worn

I have never been hungry God has kept me fed
He even knows the number of hairs on my head

He has always provided me with clothes to wear
And when I need His love, He is always there

God has made sure I had shelter in which to sleep
Jesus saved my soul, it is His to always have and keep

Everyone of my blessings is from God, that He bestowed to me
God is my rock and one day in Heaven, my Father I shall see

God in Heaven has met my needs all these years
He’ll take care of me today I have no fears
