Psalm 138:7
Though I walk in the midst of trouble,You will revive me; You will stretch out Your hand against the wrath of my enemies, and Your right hand will save me.

No matter what we are going through, God wants us to let Him be our guide. No matter what trouble and trials that we experience, we need to let God take care of all of our problems. Everyday we need to give God the same answer, Lord you are in control. There is no problem that He can't handle. Give God the go ahead and let Him be in control of what happens today. All our problems He can definitely handle by Himself.

Lord Be My Guide

Dear Lord I don't have to worry, about what this day may hold
Whatever happens today, I leave you in complete control

Dear Lord if things happen that I don't understand
You will comfort me and hold my hand

No matter what this day may have in store
I will let you handle it, and not interfer like before

I use to think, I could fix it myself
Thinking I had no other options left

Now I don't have to worry, there is no problem to big, that you can't handle
The love that you bestow upon us, to it no one can hold a candle

Forgive me when I try to take the lead, and fix things on my own
For now I know the end result, everything ends up so wrong

Lord all my problems, I place them all with you
With You by my side, all things I can make it through

So I leave God in control, of all the things in my life
He will carry me through, all the chaos and strife

When sorrow and trials, begin to drift into my path
I know to give it all to Jesus, I will get relief at last

I know there will be days that I will be sad
With Jesus in control, things won't be so bad

I want to leave God in complete control
To let Him lead,that is my goal





 

(Psalms 33.18-22
Behold, the eye of the LORD is upon them that fear Him, upon them that hope in His mercy, To deliver their soul from death, And to keep them alive in famine.
Our soul waiteth for the LORD; He is our help and our shield. For our heart shall rejoice in Him, Because we have trusted in His holy name.
Let thy mercy, O LORD, be upon us, according as we hope in Thee.

If we place our faith in God, He is sure and just to protect us. If we fear Him, He will deliver us from death. God will take care of us no matter what tribulations we go through. God will shelter His children, and lead our path, no matter where we may go. So take comfort in God, and know that He will watch over us all the days of our lives. Let us rejoice in God's holy name and give praise to Him for all that He has done for us in our life. God's mercy is upon us daily, even though we sin, He forgives us. He leads our path no matter where we may walk, or where we lay down at night. God is our shield throughout our life, He will keep us safe in His arms. So no matter what pain or problem you are facing today, if you can't get relief run to God's arms.. He will keep you safe and give you comfort.

Dear Father, in this life You are our Shield
Even in the valleys, hill, or even in the fields

You keep us safe in Your arms
Your are our Shield, from all harm

You are there no matter what we may face
You protect us by Your saving grace

No matter where we may roam
With You we are never alone

In this life You are our Shield
Around You our life we will build

Father, You provide our every need
When we cry, You hear our plead

Thank You Father, for Your love
For sending Your Son from above

To save all sinners that will believe Him
Father, we will try to reach the lost and tell them

That Jesus saves and died for our sins
That He arose on the Third Day so all could win

That we must accept and believe that He is Your only Son
By accepting Him, our life has just truly begun


 

2 Peter 1:5-8

5.And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge;

6.And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness;

7.And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.

8.For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
And he spake this parable unto them, saying,
Luke 15: 4-7
4.What man of you, having an hundred sheep, if he lose one of them, doth not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until he find it?

5.And when he hath found it, he layeth it on his shoulders, rejoicing.

6.And when he cometh home, he calleth together his friends and neighbours, saying unto them, Rejoice with me; for I have found my sheep which was lost.

7.I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance

I looked up these passages and they just spoke to me. As we go through this life, what kind of impression will we leave. Will it be one that others will want to follow the path that we have followed. Will the lasting impression be, that we were a person that was selfish. Are we letting our light shine before men? Are we making others stumble in life, because of the path we have personally chosen? For every action, there is a reaction. Let us live our life following the example set by Jesus Christ. Let us show love and kindness towards others. If we have nothing good to say, then let us keep our mouth closed. If we are going to say or do something, that can make others stumble, let us pray for God to show us what we need to do. Believe it or not, we have many people watching the way that we live our lives. Some follow by our example, that is why we must be careful in what we say and do. By acting in a bad manner, others may think it is all right. We must try and reach the lost, and show the love that Jesus Christ has placed in our hearts. Let us not be guilty of leading others astray. One day we will give an account on all the things that we have done. Let us strive to set a record that would be pleasing to God in Heaven. Let us not be guilty of leading others astray into Satan's trap by our actions. Let us stay close to God, and read our bible daily. Then we can walk closer with Jesus, and try our very best to help others. If we will let our light shine, others will see Jesus in us. We can't pretend, or act false, we have to be genuine in our walk with Jesus Christ. We don't need to say one thing and turn around and do the opposite. We are cheating God, and being a bad witness when we do this. I want a lasting impression to be, that others seen my light shine for Jesus. I don't want it to be about me, I want it all to be about Him. Let us be a diligent worker for God, to tell the world of Jesus Christ, and how they can be saved. Let us rejoice when others accept Jesus and show them by example how to live for Him faithfully.

Father, help me to leave a good lasting impression
That I followed Jesus Christ, and was under His protection

I know that I have done many things that are so wrong
LORD, help me to do what is right, help me to be strong

Guide me so that I do not lead others astray
I want to serve You, and let my light shine everyday

Let us strive to do Your will, to Your satisfaction
To talk with You before we kick into action

To let You lead our path, to our destination
To let You search our heart, and give evaluation

To clean out all the parts, that can make stumbling blocks for others
Cleanse our soul Father, so we don't hurt our sisters and brothers

Let our lasting impression, show Your footprints on our soul
Father, to tell the lost of Jesus Christ, let that always be our goal

Father, lay the foundation within our heart, of love and communication
Let us follow Jesus Christ daily, to do Your will with dedication

Let our lasting impression be one, that brought others to know Jesus Christ
That we be known by the light, that You placed in our life


 

Proverbs 3: 5 - 6 “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your path”

Today, I am thankful to know that no matter what may happen, God is in control of my life. God in Heaven will help us through what ever we may face daily. I will place my trust in Him, and let Jesus Christ strengthen and carry me when I can no longer stand. I will depend on God for my every need, and be thankful for all the many blessings that He bestows upon us daily. I will give praise to His holy name for everything that we have been given. Because everything that we have has been given by God. It is nothing by our own hand that we have done, it is blessings from God in Heaven that is my confession. Also I am thankful for being given another day, to invite friends,family, and strangers to worship in the house of our Lord and Savior. Today, let us get out and invite our neighbor to join us in church tomorrow morning. To pray for God to lead and guide us in whom He needs us to talk to.

Father, today guide us to where You need us to go
To tell our neighbors and friends Jesus loves them so

Let us be open to tell the lost about Jesus Christ
So that they may believe in Him, to receive eternal life

Father, guide our steps to where Your work needs to be done
Let us strive to tell the world of Your only Begotten Son

Father, show us and give us the words to speak unto the lost
To tell them of salvation, that Jesus paid the ultimate cost

Thank You Father, for another day to tells others of Jesus Christ
To tell them He can relieve them of endless anger and strife


 

Hebrews 9:15
15.And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament,
that by means of death, for the redemption of the
transgressions that were under the first testament, they
which are called might receive the promise of eternal
inheritance."

Today, I am thankful for the promise of eternal life. That when a loved one passes away, that one day we can see them again if they have believed in Jesus Christ. I thank God for sending Jesus to be our Mediator. The promise of eternal life comes from God in Heaven, if we believe and accept His only begotten Son. Yesterday, it made me sad to hear that a girl I used to work with had passed away at the age of 37. She use to live across the street from us, our daughters played together. I have questioned myself, wondering if I truly ever witnessed to her. I know that she lived a hard life, and sometimes in the fast lane. It makes me more aware of the people that are lost.That there are many around us that we need to tell about Jesus. Father, Thank You for reminding that there are many people that You need us to witness to. I don't know where she stood with Jesus, but I do know I should have made the effort to find out if He was her best Friend.

Father, Thank You for sending Jesus to die for our sins
That by accepting Him, all sinners can truly win

Father, show me the way I am to take and go
Lead me to the lost, to tell them Jesus loves them so

Let me make it a point to tell others of Your only Begotten Son
That through Him dying on the cross Your will was completely done

Father, let us tell the lost that Jesus Christ saves today
To tell them of His love, let our light shine for You every day

Father, Thank You for the promise of eternal life
It is only found by believing in Your Son Jesus Christ

Father, Praise Your Holy Name, that Jesus arose on the THIRD day
To save the lost, He rose from the grave, and rolled the stone away




 

Romans 8:18
18. For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.

Just imagine that this was your last day on earth, what would be the things that you would want to do most? Would we rush to spend time with your loved ones? Would we try to visit places that we had never got to go? Would we be searching out friends and family that we knew were lost and try and talk to them about Jesus? We need to treat every minute as if it is our last, because we never know it truly could be. We need to try and reach the lost, we need to let our light shine before men. To be a positive influence for God. We need to let Jesus use us in a manner that will bring praise and glory to God in Heaven. If this were our last day, let us reach out to loved ones who are suffering, and tell them it is only temporary. One day we will be reunited on Heaven's shores with the ones that have gone on before. If we have accepted Jesus Christ and the ones that have gone on before accepted Jesus, there will be a grand reunion in Heaven. A homecoming without any end. So let us treat everyday as if it is our last, to tell others that we love them. To tell them that Jesus died for all sinners. Let us not give up the fight for Jesus, let us do God's will until He calls us home. Some would answer this question I am sure by telling us that they would accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior. We don't know when our last day will be, so many put off accepting Jesus until it is too late. They do before ever doing so. Let us stress how important it is to accept Jesus today, to someone who is lost. You never know it could very well be their last day. I don't want to be guilty of failing to tell someone about Jesus and they die without know Him. That would be the worst case scenario. So let us stay on track, and tell the lost about Jesus everyday. Not to let one moment slip by, when given the chance to tell a lost soul that Jesus died for our sins.

Father, let us treat everyday as if it were our last
To live in the present and not in the past

Help us to tell the lost about Jesus Christ
So that they can receive eternal life

The most important thing is to tell the lost about Him
It is very important to get Your message to them

Let us treat every day as our last
Because the end is approaching fast

Let us tell loved ones how much that we really care
If they are lost tell them in heaven we want them to be there

Let us do things that bring praise and glory to Your name
To tell the world that Jesus can end all of their pain

That one day everyone that accepts Him will be reunited
To pray the lost will be saved, we need to really get excited

To get on fire to tell a lost and dying world of Your love
So they can accept Jesus and receive a home above

 

Colossians 3:23
And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men.

Have you ever noticed in the work place, that when the boss comes in some people begin to work harder. You may have workers that don't do anything when the boss is not around, then do their best work in the presence of their boss. Let us not settle for minimum, don't work hard just because the boss is watching. Being a Christian doesn't justify or make up for poor performance. We should strive to do our best all the time. Doing our very best all the time, because what we are, and what we do is for our Lord. After all our Boss, is always watching what we say and do. Our Boss is God in heaven, that is who we are working for.

Always Do Your Best

When you work, sometimes others do you try to impress?
Other times is your work nothing but a mess?

Instead of trying to get someones attention and praise
Let us spend every moment working for Jesus everyday

Let us always do our best
God will take care of the rest

No matter what job that we must do
Do it right all the way through

Give it your all, from beginning to end
Don't take shortcuts, and the rules bend

Let us do the job correctly the way that satisfies our Boss
Our responsibility to God we should not toss

 

1 Timothy 6:6
But Godliness with contentment is great gain.

When I think of how many blessings that God has bestowed upon our family, I am truly amazed. He meets our every need, we never lack for anything concerning our basic needs. God has given us far more blessings that we could never thank Him enough. We are content with the things that God has given our family, and we feel so blessed. God has given us a beautiful family, he provides us with a home, and lots of love. He provides us with plenty to eat, and gives us clothes to wear. I feel how could I long for anything else? God has given us all these blessings, and extends His love to us everyday. I feel so blessed when I think of how God sent His only Son to die for our sins. If we have Jesus in our lives, everything else just falls into place.

I Am Blessed

God extends His love to us everyday
He loves us all along life's way

God provides us a home to live in
Everyday He forgives our every sin

God provides us with food to eat
He provides shoes for our feet

God has given so many blessings to us
In Him I will always place my trust

We will be content with all the blessings, that we have been given
We will always be content with what we receive, from God as long as I'm living

I don't want to be greedy, and ask for things I don't need
I don't want my life, to be filled with greed

I want to praise God, for all the things He's done for me
I want to thank Him, for sending Jesus to set my soul free




 

1 John 2:1
My little children these things write I unto you, that ye sin not, And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:

Isn't it great to know that when we are saved Jesus is our advocate. He pleads our case to His Father in heaven when we have done wrong. Jesus is the greatest defense anyone could ever have. When Jesus pleads our case God only sees the blood of Jesus that covers our sins because we accepted Jesus into our hearts. I wouldn't want anyone else to defend my case on judgment day, Jesus is the only ONE who can handle that job!

Jesus Will Defend Our Case

Jesus will stand up for me on judgment day
To tell His Father their sins have been washed away

They have no debt for it has been paid
When at the altar all their sins they laid

The day they believed and accepted me into their heart
An heir to heaven they became a part

Through Jesus our sins are forgiven to God's satisfaction
Only through the love of Jesus, did we receive this action

Through Jesus' blood our sins have been covered
Because the love of Jesus our heart discovered

Without Jesus to argue our case
Harsh judgment for our sins we would face

Jesus will be our lawyer, because He paid our price for sin
When we stand before God, through His blood we are cleansed within


 

Psalm 34:18

18The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.

God extends His mercy to the broken hearted. He knows what they go through. He knows their pain, He sees the tears they cry. He knows the pain that they suffer, and He gives comfort through words of divine love. He sends the Holy Spirit, to whisper comforting words into our hearts and ears. God holds us in His arms when we have loss a loved one. He knows the grief that we experience. He knows the tears that we cry. He knows the helpless feelings that we deal with. God knows when we see a loved one sick, and we cry out to Him when the time is drawing near for them to return to Him. God extends His mercy to us daily, no matter what we are going through. He holds us in His arms when we can no longer stand. He encourages us with His love and presence to carry on with His help. God will draw us near to Him no matter what we are going through. There is no situation that God can not carry us through. He has done it time and time again in my life.

Father, many times our hearts have been broken
Words of comfort from You have always been spoken

You gather us in Your arms when everything goes wrong
Lord, You give us the strength we need to carry on

When our world is turned upside down
In Your arms Father, is where we are found

You wipe away our tears, and help us face another day
You give us comfort, and give us Your love along the way

No matter what tomorrow may bring
Your praise and glory we will sing

You are with us when there is a bump in the road
When our burdens become to heavy You carry our load

No matter how broken we may feel
One thing we know Your love is real
