Yup its a common threat around my house. The kids know I'd never do it, but they also know that by the time I threaten it, that they have pushed the envelope just a bit too far and a time-out can't be too far away. I win,

I am a firm believer that duct tape does really hold the world together.

Now some of you may beg to differ with me on that and claim that love is what keeps us together. In some cases you would be correct. Love does bind the heart, but nothing binds bodies together like duct tape.

Ok! Ok! All jokes aside. Seriously.

Im a happily married, mom of three. I share my home with my four kids, four cats, 2 fish and a hamster. Basically speaking, I live in a zoo and I love it.

There are somedays however I just want to ... want to ... duct tape some one to a wall somewhere. And thats where this journal comes is. I write here and don't duct tape noone anywhere.


Besides. This is cheaper than duct tape. And with three growing girls I have to watch my pennies!

I'm ALIIIIVE!!! and I'm 2 days away from being a kid-herder too. Yay! No more office job. (okay you know I'm being sarcastic) But, I am looking foward to being home with the girls, lizards, cats, and dog. Maybe thats why we get along so well, eh! We both lead similar lives - only you're where I WANT to be (in Canada). 9 more days until I'm in Canada! Woohoo! Anyhoo, just dropped by your blog area to say howdy from Hell (oops, I mean Texas). Just saw a link to to your port through Lisa Dawn's blog. Wanted to congradulate you on your Baptism. Then I thought, what if something went wrong; you haven't written anything since then. Neither has she. What if it didn't happen or there was a huge obnoxious scene during or after or before the procedure and it is a sore spot, a point of anger or frustration, an event that went bad,a disturbing twist that makes you mad, an aggrivating source of discontent. And just who the hell am I anyway. You don't know me. Back off buddy!

Hope you've checked your homeowner's (or condo?) association documents by now. I know when I worked creating those kinds of documents for HOA's (for a developer) we often put things like this in them. Folks couldn't say no, 'cause they agreed to them in writing when they bought the properties.

I am not Catholic, thank God. I am, however, a member of a church that teaches directly from the bible. It's non-denominational but if you had to classify it I guess it would be close to Evangelical. If you follow the Bible you basically can't be a Catholic. Plain and simple! Read Romans sometime. It'll put it all in focus for you. Simply put: you get to heaven on faith NOT actions. You could be the absolute best person in the world, have the highest moral standards around but if you never take Jesus Christ as your personal Saviour, YOU WILL NOT GO TO HEAVEN. If you believe that Jesus died on the cross for you sins and you take him as your personal Savior you will go to heaven. THERE'S nothing in the Bible or Good News (as some call it) about Saint this or that and asking Saint Whoever for help. If anything praying to a Saint or to The Virgin Mary is having false idols.
A lot of my family is Catholic and I feel so badly for them. They aren't going to heaven. It's unfortunate.
Don't be Catholic. I think you'll be much happier not. Read the Bible.

Ah, I just went through something similar two days ago. My system almost crashed and after investigating, I realized my anti-virus program had been disabled. Took me three hours to uninstall it, install it again, then clean up all the viruses and spyware that had taken over.

I think there should be tough penalties for people/businesses who implant this stuff.
