This is my very first attempt at a novel. Though I have had ideas before, I haven't followed any of them up as much as this one. Every time I sit down to write, Edmund becomes more real to me. I hope he is to you, my reader, as well. I rated this 13+ to be on the safe side, as I cannot help but add some fantasy elements in that might be considered horror.

(I wouldn't worry about it too much, though. It's really just to be on the safe side.)

No matter how hard I try, I cannot seem to write without adding some spectatular gifts to my characters, main or not. Also, I have a bad habit of writing in first person all the time, even though it is not the best choice for the beginners like me. I just had to have the diary entry in the beginning, and you may look forward to more in the future. On the other hand, I made myself promise to write the rest in third person. I don't know why, really. I just did.

I'm completely open to constructive criticism(as I have given it out myself plenty of times), and would love to have a designated beta-reader of sorts, if you so wish. Thanks for reading!
