Discontent

The roar of multitude fills the air.

It is not right, it is not fair.

Casting glances at their feet.

Adversary’s eyes afraid to meet.

Scuff their toes upon the ground.

Even when their voice is sound.

Please, oh please, now can’t you see?

The situations unfair, as it can be.

State their claims, in plaintive note.

Without the will to place their vote.

Another’s job, to set me free.

Afraid to be all they can be.

Damn you fool, and damn your word.

Frightened, step back into the herd.

Read the writing of, “Nine to One”.

It just that simple, to claim your fun.

What has happened to the warrior’s creed?

What happened to the warrior breed?

Bow down, and crawl before their might.

Sniveling dogs, whipped into mindless fright.

Many, envision life’s’ disparity.

While complacently wait others, to make them free.

Well, I state my view, as clear as glass.

Those abusing bastards can kiss my ass.

To none but God shall I bow ‘MY’, head.

To another man, I would rather be dead.


Can’t, can’t do anything. If you want, go out and get, and stop your foolish sniveling s***. Any abuse, which is system wide, we can change. Always remember, and hold dear this truth…we outnumber them, “Nine to One”.

 

Education?


The endless debate is yet another procrastination pointing to the bottom line problem with our education system. I cannot say if this problem stems from the administrative, or the teaching level, however, I can definitely say the problem is lack of effort, and common sense.

Why do we have such a high drop out number? Simple, the students do not want to be there. Whoa, can it be just that simple? I am afraid so, and will go out on a limb, and claim the rhetoric is but another system excuse to suck more money from the essential problem of teaching. If our education system instilled in our students the same inclination to do studies, as this system puts out, the problem would be solved.

How about trying the following basic approach?

1. Every child is photographed at the point of its registration, and these photos placed in the hands of their teachers two weeks in advance of the commencement of class.

2. The teacher is then required to know the image, and name of each student when they first come to class.

3. During the first week of class, each student is to be taken aside, and told, personally, why that teacher is happy the student is in their class.

4. This positive reinforcement is to continue throughout the year on a regular, on going, basis. There is always something good, that can be said about everyone, and this type of positive feedback will produce positive comportment.

5. Some of this feedback must be expressed in front of the entire class in-order to create a bonded unit, with everybody being valued. The class should be encouraged to, freely, communicate, and the top students used to tutor those less gifted. If this is done from the lowest level to the top, bullying, hatred, and divisiveness will be eliminated.

This type of approach will instill a sense of being wanted, and furthermore, in many cases be the only form of positive approval some of these children receive. If school provides this for these children, they will automatically want to be in this type of atmosphere. Positive input, gives positive result. Imagine what this will do for many of the lost children currently thrown away by our present system.

6. It is vital this system be applied to each level of advancement. When these children move to the next level, the next teachers follow the same format, greeting each individual, and telling them how much they have been looking forward to having that student, in their class.

Teachers who are unable to handle this approach must be weeded out, and informed they are better suited to a different profession. Teaching is an art, and for my children, I prefer artists to assume the role.

Our goal in this matter is to make school such a positive factor; no child will want to leave this environment. Learning must be exciting, and fun. After all, we are dealing with children, and must pander to childish delights.

Math: This dreaded appelation needs to be restructured to fulfill the needs of a students ability to function in society. When this is done we will produce graduates fully capable of entering the world, and surviving. Also, it provides a platform for those who excel, in this field, to be clearly identified, and given the encouragement needed to continue, and advance to their highest level.

Methodology:
Every piece of paper, pencil, color crayon, book should be a number. In other words instead of adding, and subtracting apples, and oranges (abstract concepts) these children learn these basic numbers when applying them to the things they handle on a daily basis. This process should begin at the earliest possible point in education. This makes math an invisible game, and its progression can be made a natural advance.

By the time preschoolers, and kindergarten children reach the first grade, they will allready have a grasp of basic mathematics. This will happen without it ever being made a classroom subject. A natural occurrence of their daily routines. For those without the advantage of these preclasses, they should be treated in exactly the same manner, and the other students must get involved with showing this information to the late students. This will form bonds of friendship, respect, and responsibility, making the class a cohesive unit, with all involved in the success of the whole. Again a fun, and sharing game with positive results. If done kindly, and without judgement the new students will pick this information up very rapidily because of their advanced age.

This point of education must be done slowly, and with concern that all have their foundations true. There should be no rush, because rushing at this point will automatically begin to leave some behind. This will occur naturally at a later date, however, the goal should be to lead all to their highest level of achievement, and they must be praised for their achievements.. This will not happen if the process is rushed, and some realize they are not included at this early date. They will simply quit, and never reach their true potential.

Everybody must be honored for what, and who they are. Society is far better off if all are raised to their highest level of achievement. Instead of a rush to exellence for some, a steady progression to excellence for all. We do not need to be concerned with the gifted, because to the swiftest will always go the race. As professional atheletes are given higher intake of calories, so should the gifted be given higher levels of goal, and if done without judgement, it can be done so all class members are allowed to be included (as a class) in those students achievements. Conversely, the gifted student should be praised for their contribution to the success of their class, as well as themselves. Social responsibility, a good thing to learn.

 

Nine to One


“We hold this truth self evident, every American citizen, by that fact alone, deserves to be acknowledged with the quality of life that citizenship implies.”

When this nation was founded, it was based upon principles, which, for the entire history of man, had never existed. Concepts, which had always been against the law, became the law. Free speech, private ownership, the right to vote and choose Government of the people, by the people, and for the people, these concepts are remarkable.

It is the last part of the above statement that shows exactly why we do not have the quality of life implied by our ownership of this nation. Consider these words carefully, and you decide if I am wrong.

In this nation, “We”, are the Government, yet we fail to rule. Early in our history, our government took our possessions and gave them away. This was done without our truly grasping what had occurred. The fact that we are the government means we are the nation, and every natural resource within its borders belongs to us. As this is the case, when our government allowed select individuals to take control of our property for their personal advantage, our possessions were stolen. In other words, when any natural resource within the borders of our nation was discovered, a reasonable and fair portion of that discovery was ours, and should have been retained for our future usage.

I have always believed to the swiftest shall go the race, however, all deserve to compete. We owned these resources by our stewardship of the government, and to us should have accrued acknowledgement in the form of benefiting from our property. Instead, one-hundred percent was handed over for the benefit of the few. This is equal to a farmer planting a crop, and the government allowing another man to harvest, and profit from it.

How did this happen? It happened because we refuse to demand our rights. Perhaps we do not truly grasp the power of the second greatest writing ever produced in the history of man. That writing is our Constitution, and this writing scares those stealing from us. That fact is why it is constantly under attack, and as, “We the People”, it is our responsibility, and right to defend it by any means at our disposal. Let me explain the easiest and honorable method for accomplishing this defense.

It is accepted that ten-percent of our population controls ninety percent of our wealth, and after reading up to this point it is easy to see why. When I hear this claim it makes me laugh, I laugh because I am just an old country boy, and those words mean we out number them nine to one. Hell, that ain’t even a real fun fight. When we finally choose to do so, we can take whatever we need for our quality of life, and there is not a darned thing they can do about it. I want to be very clear here and say, I am not talking about equality of life style; I am talking about quality of life. God placed upon this earth his bounty for all of his creations, and to us he gave stewardship. This is fact, and yet a greedy few have managed to hide this fact through a system of slight of hand. The greatest and evilest of these slights is their intentional misdirection causing us to waste our time fighting among ourselves. Hatred is a trick, for if you look at all of God’s
creations, none are the same. Sameness was never his intent, and we must learn to
appreciate the diversity of man, not hate it. They have us so busy fighting among ourselves, while they profit, that we do not have time to see the truth. Every one of God’s creations, by the fact of that creation, deserves to be honored. If this is not done then we need to remove this portion from our pledge of allegiance, “One nation under God”, and I for one do not wish to do so.

Now, here is the honorable and easiest way to have what we deserve.

We have a nation of three-hundred-million citizens, the most of whom put up with a life of constant struggle for survival, and endless worry about their retirement, and medical care. “We are each and everyone responsible for the world we inhabit”, so let us take the steps needed to produce a kind, and honorable world.

I am going to put this in ideal form, but realize it can be done with as few as a thousand citizens. One-hundred-million citizens decide to take control of their lives and future. In order to do this they join, and decide to give up one pizza a month. Instead of that pizza, they put that money ($20) into an escrow account for development of business taking control of four areas of economy. These areas are, one. Insurance and Banking. 2. Food and Clothing. 3. Education. 4. Medical Treatment.

How this can be done should be clear when I show the figures after one year of feeding that escrow account.

One-hundred-million citizens X twenty dollars a month equal two-billion dollars a month, or twenty-four-billion dollars a year.

In one years time we have the resources needed to establish our own insurance company, and our own bank. Every citizen is issued one share of stock in these enterprises, and every year the profit from their operation is returned to a retirement account for the future security of these owners. This will, very quickly, become the largest insurance company, and bank in the world. Further earnings will accrue to the owners because every other company will have to get their insurance and loans from our companies. This earning is also divided equally and distributed into the retirement accounts of the owners.

Every individual who joins gets one share of stock, and receives this benefit; every company who borrows from our company, does not get a share. For them it is business as usual.

The continued input of twenty dollars, allows us to establish our own Wal-Mart like business, and to keep the profit from our everyday purchase of necessities for existence. Our insurance company can establish a comprehensive medical care plan for every person in this country. Imagine the amount of stress removed from our daily lives if we do this, in one generation, every American has the requirements for a quality retirement, and the resources needed for the advancement of their family. Unlike Social Security, these monies are fully inheritable, just like money in a savings account.

Yes, it is that easy.

Education, and Medical coverage are not needed to be profitable…they must be equal.

Yes, it is that easy, however, it is also just that complex. I fully understand the complexity required, and am willing to, for the beginning, to oversee the honorable founding of these enterprises. What do I expect for this effort? My expenses, one share of stock (the same as everyone), and a reasonable compensation. By reasonable compensation I mean reasonable, not some bloated, inflated, ridiculous sum. This figure would always be out in the open, and subject to your approval. I do not wish to run these enterprises, I am old, lazy, and enjoy my leisure, however I will stay long enough to insure quality people hold the reins, and quality controls are in place to assure quality people stay quality people. Ah, humanity you vex me greatly.

Had I designed this effort to be about me, instead of we…it would not work. Had it been done from the beginning we would not need to do this now. However, that is not the case, and it is our right, free enterprise, private ownership, and competition…the American way.

I was sixty-three when I completed my walk from California to Chicago, and during that journey, I spoke with countless citizens. Not one person felt in control, or that our Government was right. Well then, it is our responsibility, our right, to fix it, and I can see no other way. When we do this we gain a very powerful voice, and our wishes must be responded to, for if they are not we have your addresses, and will inform you. Then we can throw the rascals out. The benefits are legion, the result positive, and our voice becomes very loud. Stand up, you of the American Government, (we citizens), and take back your country, your lives, your future.

Is The Foundation True?

True: Level, Plumb, Straight, Solid.

Foundation: That which supports, and carries the weight of the rest of the structure.

A foundation can be as simple as your feet, a chair, the tires on your car, and as complex as the Earth itself. We rarely think about this, we just accept the support. However, should you think about this, the one thing we would agree on is, the foundation needs to be true…based on the above definition.

I am tackling an extremely complex issue here, and I hope you will indulge me because this information is necessary for the secure structure of all life on Earth.

There is a famous poem, saying, story, which demonstrates my point as well as it can be done. That is if we carry its lesson to everything, we deal with.

“For the want of a nail the shoe was lost. For the want of the shoe, the horse was lost. For the want of the horse, the rider was lost. For the want of the rider, the battle was lost. For the want of the battle, the war was lost”.

Cause and effect, and they are applicable to every thing.

It is vital when building any structure, every effort be made to insure that the foundation is true. For if, it is not, not all of the adjustments in the world will make the structure true. The more untrue the structure, the shorter the time it shall endure.

As you read this, it should be easy to apply these thoughts to buildings, and see the logic implied. However, these rules apply to all structures, social, economic, religious…all structures.

All right, we now have some rules of construction, and I hope their validity is apparent. Why? Because it is time to build a structure, and I hope, its flaws are blatantly apparent.

We start with plans that can only be defined as divine in nature. These plans are for a structure, as no structure ever built, in all the history of humankind. I believe a structure so unique should have a name, so I will be presumptuous, and call it “America”. I hope this meets with your approval.

The architect, it turns out, is a member of the roofers guild, a group included in the top ten percent of the society. From the beginning, there is a problem, for the roofers are claiming they have the right to run the job. “Anytime any group or organization assumes a disproportionate level of influence, the effort becomes skewed to favor their agenda”. In this case, the structure shall, inadvertently, end up flawed. Let us view the factors of these results.

As this structure develops, it becomes apparent that 12% of the foundation, (35,000,000, American foundation blocks), are free floating and unattached. Another ten percent of the foundation is held in place by mortar, which does not meet specifications. This produces an increasing burden on the rest of the foundation.

Furthermore, the plans call for a meager 10% of the total materials, to be used for the building of the structure, below the roof. This assigns 90% of the total materials of the design, for the construction of the roof. What this will produce is a build with 90% percent of the occupants, sheltered by 10% percent of the structure. Conversely, the 10% of the occupants living in the loft are sheltered by 90% of the materials (in the roof) of the structure.

Once this structure is complete, it is recognized as one of the crowning achievements of humankind. The world modifies its structure, and adds many of the features of this building. The concept was beyond anything previously built, and its residents accept this building, based upon its conceptualization, and ignore its true form.

You are living in this structure, and it is time to view the truths of construction, which were not followed. Ask yourself, “Would you buy a home designed with 90% of its material placed in the roof? Most of us know a contractor, builder, carpenter so take the time to ask them. No honorable Contractor would agree to build such a structure (his insurance would cancel him), and would tell you, “It cannot stand”. Cause and effect, logic, these seem to be tools no longer used by our leaders, and it is our responsibility to correct this tendency.

All structures, physical, social, economic, religious, all structures are controlled by these laws of construction. None will stand if they are ignored.

In the structure of, “America” every resident was granted a hammer, and it is their right (no, their responsibility, to use this tool to correct flaws of construction. Do not get lost in the concept, for it is our job to monitor the reality of construction. We are the building inspectors, and it is okay to demand it be set TRUE.

 

TO KNOW SOMETHING IS WRONG, AND DO NOTHING, IS COWARDICE.

“Government of the people”, a leisure cruise.
It is not a fight that we can lose.
It has to be the way we choose.

There is a path that’s free and clean.
One that makes her be, what she should mean.
Get up Americans, peacefully, as on each other we do lean.

Droop not your head to another man.
Scuff not your toe, and view the sand.
Shoulder to shoulder, let us make a stand..

We can fuel her dimming flame.
No time for pointing, and placing blame.
Let us lift her, from her growing shame.

When looking in the mirror what do we see?
An American who stood up to responsibility?
Its not them, and its not me, matter of fact its all of we.

As for me, hear these words I speak.
It must be her fairness, and honor we seek.
She must be strong, or we are weak.

Now that I am home, I find myself buried with three times the things to do than I
started with. I am retired, old, worn out so what is up with that? You would think after a stroll across the country I would be bursting with energy, however, the let down of completion is heavy. That and the fact the over half of the things facing me are things I do not want to do. If I had not spent all that money walking across the country, I could pay someone to do these things. I started out to drain a swamp, etc, etc. While I will not quit, the next adventure is only going to involve half of my savings...yeah. Well maybe only three quarters...yeah thats it, three quarters. I had better not make such plans because I hate it when I lie to me. For those of you who read this drivel I write, please be advised I have posted a significant addition to "Welcome to Whynot California". I really believe this writing to be far better than my first effort, and includes my first love scene. Money, that hatred appelation, forces me to enter my back forty and work at my farming endeavors, this is not for food, but money. Sometimes I feel like a whore who doesn't charge enough. Come on you Americans and get it, we are being screwed, and the path is there. Let us get it done so I can relax. Have pity on an old man. Phew I feel a lot better, it is amazing what a good snivel can do for you. Oh, stop by my port and read "Nine to One". It is just another version of the same old drum beat, however, I plan on mailing this to 10,000 Americans, and would like some feedback first.
 

Nebraska won the overall humanity award for my walk across the country. I cannot say who was second, at this time, however, Nebraska by a large margin was first.
The heart beat of America is troubled. There was complete agreement across the way that America (and we) are in trouble. I heard no encouageing words about our Government, our leaders, our future. This is a precursor to a very disturbing tomorrow. It does not have to be this way, however, a catalyst is needed to bring people to the table of responsibility. It is our job, "Nation of the people, by the people, and for the people", and until WE make that happen, it shall not exist. When somebody else holds the reins of your mount, do not expect a pleasant ride. "When any group, or ideology hold sway, their results shall always be skewed to favor their agenda". There is a path, and it can be made free, which can resolve this problem, however, we must spread the word. Humaneomics, honors all people, and irons out the confusion which is used to blind us to their intent. I have taken it as my charge to shout this from the towers of society, and I need your help. In the next few years I shall be Writing, traveling, speaking, and doing all I can in-order to bring back our honor, What do I ask of you? Read my words, come and hear me speak, whisper the truth to friends. It is our right, nay, it is our responsibility as Americans to demand we get it right. The top ten-percent of this nation are not Americans, nor good humanbeings (for the most part), they are citizens of the world, and if we fall, they shall move elsewhere and suck the blood of economy from their new home.

I AM FINISHED...ALMOST. Chicago I have seen you and you are mine. Today I shall try to positon myself inorder to be downtown by 5:15AM. That is when I have an interview with CBS. Perhaps NBC, after that. Then A picture in front of Harpo Studios...then I am going home. Thank you all for joining me, it has been fun, however, it is time to bring down the curtain.
 

As I sit here this early morn, I have flipped through the days by reading my own words. I am surprised to see how often I wrote about the internal. Even though I was ambling through a remarkable display of natures art, I was describing inter feelings. I am glad to see this because when I think back, I can only see the external. Intersting. The memory is rather selective about how it views events, so it is probably a gioid idea to take notes whilr sitting in lifes' classroom....there may be a pop quiz. The pain, blisters, doubts etc., are fading and being replaced by a fictional sanitized version. I o not know if this is true for everybody, however, to ba greater or lesser degree I believe it must be. This feature is proably a key factor in why the spoken word is such a poor medium of communication. Think about that, it brings to mind one of my favorite bumper stickers. "I know you believe you understand what you think I said, howevern what you think I saaid isnt't what I meant at all". It goes something like that. I saw, first hand, this effect during this stroll. No matter how often I was interviewedd, I knew the result would only be an approximation of what I was trying to communicate. Very frustrating, yet without writing the article for them, there is no helping this fact. In the brief time allowed, only a niggling insight will happen. Planting the seeds of our discontent, or planting the seeds of our release. I shall finish this lesson, and return home to design the nexts days lecture. I will likely not live long enough to see the harvest, however, that does not diminish the need to plant the seeds. You, my fellow humans, scratch it on a piece of paper, a CD, a board for who can say if that insight touches somebody a decade down the road and touchs their heart. Even more interesting, what if those few words you thought, touches all humanity and saves the world. We cannot know how it will be interpreted or its effect...very interesting. A message in time and space.
 

This morning I awoke and realized It was ending. Two years of focus was becoming a memory. Just a short walk, and all of the plans, and the days of anticipation would soon be yesterdays dream. The container of self feels as though it is hollow, but not empty. Is that not how it should be? We strive with all our might, however, tomorrow is a seed hiding in wait. It is hiding waiting for the havest of today and then it flowers filling us with the hope of tomorrow. A remarkable cycle designed to make our lives as the mounting of stairs, always climbing to new heights. We should never fear these heights, rather we must embrace them at their highest level. Ain't life a wonderment, "What man can conceive, man can achieve", that defines why we must always conceive kindly, and with a love of life. I cannot think of anything to regret.
