I absolutely loved "On a Wing and a Prayer." I agree with the sentiment, because it implies not only letting go to a higher power, trusting in it, but trusting in yourself as well. The bird could not soar if it did not stick it's wings out and let the wind currents carry it. Plus, there are subtle shifts of it's feathers that capture the higher power and allow it to soar, dip, and swoop to a greater extent.

It reminds me of one of my favorite sayings: "Pray, but row away from the rocks." To me this means there is a symbiosis between ourselves and a higher power. Each has to work together--neither one can be neglected.

There's some numbers I keep in my phone anyway even though I know I'll never call them...it's more so to know what numbers to ignore in case they ever call me.

I love finding bargains too, but just not in 105 degree hot weather. Glad you had so much energy to get things done.
