Welcome!

When I first started this blog (my second one, as it happens), I intended for it to be about anything and everything that came to mind. Which it was. However, as time passed, I sort of drifted away. Part of it was because of health reasons, part of it due to computer and Internet issues, part of it due to a writer's block. The last part of it was because I needed some time to gain a fresh perspective on things.

This time away took a lot longer than I intended. Every now and again I'd return, fully determined to catch up... then felt I wasn't quite ready. The last time I tried, I deleted almost all of this blog and set it to private. I do regret this, but perhaps a fresh start isn't such a bad thing.

I feel ready now. Whether or not my inspiration is ready is a different thing, but I guess we'll find out.
