War's always been an Extension of Policy. But Policy doesn't bleed and die- soldiers do!

I spent from Nov 22nd, 1971 until Nov 15th, 1991 (with a tour in Vietnam) as a member of the U.S. Army.  I point this out because the direction these poems take may offend the "Patriotic".  But understand, I support and believe in the soldier.  It's the policies and bureaucrats which place him in harms way I take issue with!
