I am many things--a writer, a poet, an actor, an artist, a musician, and a philosopher. Many people say that a person can't be both a romantacist and a logical thinker, but I am. The two concepts swim in the double-helix that builds my body. I fall to neither side, but I'm not neutral either. This is the basis of me. I describe myself better in the warious parts of my portfolio. After all, within a body, each cell performs it's job. They can live on their own, but they need to fit together and cooperate in order to make the body. This is how my portfolio is built.

My blog has evolved quite a bit over the past years. At one point, It was just a place for me to rant and complain. Now it is a place for all my daily thoughts. Some of them may not make sense, so feel free to ask about any of them.

"What is this nightmare?" she cried, grabbing my arm to support her wobbling legs.
"This is humanity," I replied.

I found out that a play I am starring in opens the exact same weekend of that I have the state swim meet in Vegas. And there's no way I can do the two. I don't have an understudy for my part and there are only five guys available that play parts that require a male part... So then I had to consider what I would miss in each: For the play: National Thesbian Society points (which I need to enter my play into this contest), a load of respect from the other actors, and above all, a lo... I learned that a car alarm goes off about every twenty minutes in a Walmart parking lot, and is usually silenced within ten seconds. Crappy psychics are a waste of money. True psychics are totally worth an hour and 15 mins of handing out fliers. Rolos and MilkDuds are amazing. When I wear white goul make-up, the green in my eyes burns with a center of gold. I've found myself addicted to Forgive Durden. I actually begin to shake when I'm on withdrawl. Forgive Durden is a musical group. No noise at night is much better than music. Then again, I may just be getting really tired. I almost grew an addition to cough drops... but I still have this damn cold. It isn't contagious, but I'm still coughing every day. No longer shall this blog be about the things that I did today, but simply the thoughts I have throughout the day. These can be comical or depressing... Here are my thoughts over the last few days why I was hacking my guts out while sick: The energies of my room have shifted once more. I have to stop sleeping backwards (with my head at the foot of the bed.) I wonder just how easily it is to stab a knife into my mannequin's back. Does Pandora deserve to live after betrayin...   ID #662694 entered on 08-07-09 @ 11:48 pm EDT
I just spent the last five days in Oregon, driving along the coast and seeing plays in Ahland for their Shakespeare festival. I saw Macbeth, beautifully done and interpreted into a cold, dark, military-styled masterpiece. The acting--brilliant. I wish I could've seen more. And the rest of the time was spent wandering down the coast. I got to see the Cape Blanco lighthouse and the scrawny cat that prowls the grounds. But now I'm back here, in Nevada... just in time for a swim meet. ... [More]

The damn heat waves have rooted themselves in the infertile earth and are now looking into my window, breathing songs of hopeless, meaningless life. Friday was my REAL first day of lifeguarding... and it was a lot more boring than I thought. And you wouldn't believe how many stupid little shit heads decide to hang out at the pool. This little fat kid asked me if he could climb up onto the lifeguard stand. Another guy asked me if both he AND his friend could jump off the diving board at the same time. On Wednesday, it was my first day of weights in a few weeks. I hurt... quite a bit... And right after practice I went to my writing class, and then right after that I went to an hour-and-a-half-long improve show. when I got home I had to do my four-page math packet, due the next day, but I hadn't yet taken a shower... so I got in the shower, hurried out and did my math packet... but then creative energy struck and I had to write the first scene in a new paly idea.   A long, hell of a weekend
  ID #651642 entered on 05-26-09 @ 12:43 am EDT
And today I did absolutely nothing. Literally, along the lines of doing nothing productive. I sat around and watched cartoons (of all things) and Japanese commercials on YouTube. And that's my week in a wrap. Very little productivity there, but I did end up earning forty bucks house sitting. I had a swim meet all weekend, one I had to set up for Friday, a completely different one Saturday I had to swim in, and one on Sunday where I dropped time in all my events... which I haven't ... I'm sick, for the first time in quite a while. I'm conjested and my throat is red and sore. I can't go a minute without caughing. Yesterday my mom took me to the store to get a jalapeno to clear out my sinusses. They didn't have any jalapenos so we got this tiny, little green pepper instead. My mouth burned for an hour and it was so awful I cried. The juices slipped between my jaws and up into my ears and down in my throat. It cleared my nose for five minutes. At the swim mee... [More]

And as the title suggests, I went to the carnival this weekend. This is what happened: 1.) We got on a pendulum boat ride. After we were seated, two women (whome I'm sure were drunk) came in and started making jokes about which seats looked the sexies... (I really wish I knew what they were talking about.) They decided on one and sat down. A few seconds later, one of the women looks up and goes, "this seat is wet." So then they moved. 2.) We went into the house of earthquakes. ... [More]

I love a super bowl. You can fit a ton of icecream and cereal inside... However, I HATE the Super Bowl--the football one--in which there is next to no entertainment. Sports offer nothing to society other than low levels of blood-lust entertainment, unlike a play or story which has characters and plot. We are next to animals when we watch to entities fight one another for some purpose or another, using no part of our human logic. They say sports require strategy and endurance. All that's i... It's a question that's been hanging in my mind for the last week, but it really became clear what that question is. Why? The most that dared to happen this weekend was at swimming. there are these tings called dead men and you basically lay face down in the water for ten seconds then push off the the wall and do 50 yards. The thing is that you have to hold your breath from the moment your face is in the water to when you touch the wall. I managed to do two of these on Friday night. And so Thanksgiving is coming up.   ID #619337 entered on 11-18-08 @ 10:18 pm EST
As I was watching the news today, there was a huge story about how the new Twilight movie is coming out and how the first few shows have been sold out. I have never been a big fan of the book, or anything to do with vampires, so it didn't interest me much. I continued to do my English homework.
