My writing style for my blog is invariably 'snarkastic'. This is because I am a nice, unassuming and quietly-spoken person IRL-and this blog is where my innermost moments and torments happen. Trust me, I am no exception to that delightful rule.

Welcome to my THIRD blog here on WDC. A re-incarnation of my earlier version of my Blog, here "Insanties and Sensibilities" this v.03 should prove to be equally...challenging and hopefully, entertaining. That said, life often weaves through our writing in mysterious ways, and this Blog will probably prove to be no exception to that. We are very likely all quite different, yet the same, us writers and our collective little whims, fascinations and insecurities.

I only check out the blogs that I have on my side bar. It's rare that I go out and find blogs to read. It's work enough for me just to write an entry. I do enjoy coming and commenting on your and many other friend's blogs. Just not very bloggy anymore...but I assume I have my reasons, and I hope it gets fixed.

Hope Beanie feels better. I'm so sorry that she's sick, poor little thing.

I unfortunately have less and less to say here in Blogsville; after a year's incapacity to type much, I've fairly well lost the habit.

Having completed a month's worth of writing on another site where I could not honestly make positive comments about other writers, I feel lost again. WDC's platform for wanting to learn to improve one's skills in written communication lets the door open for a different kind of contact. Open Salon never panned out and I've opened up a new "blog" space at Blogspot for my new small stones. I guess I should begin posting them here in my P(tree)Log. Blogspot seems dull too, especially since I don't go out of my way to ingratiate myself with the other poets I've found there. But neither OS or Blogspot seems geared only towards writers wanting to share and learn, but rather new spaces like WDC's Blogsville. And when you have every subject being a potential content of a blog, you have to spend hours reading until you happen upon something the reflects your own interests or viewpoints.

I made WDC work for me at a time in my life when I had the energy to invest in new friendships. And Blogsville helped enormously. Today's Social Networking is just beyond me. I have relatively few new FarceBrook friends. The bear in me seems to be getting worse and worse.

Enough about me!

I hope Beanie gets over what is ailing her. I have always hated a sore scratchy throat, so I can sympathize.

Last night Pierre and I watched several episodes of Grey's Anatomy, where they were Tweeting Bailey's operations. Are there no medical blogs you can participate in? Or was GA's invention of Tweeter purely fictional?

Yes, Blogville is not what it was, but it still feels like home to me somehow. I should make the effort to check out new bloggers but doubt I will. Just recording events and emotions here is enough for now.

Hoping Beanie is soon recovered and let the housework wait. No matter how much we do it just keeps coming back.

Awww, tell Beanie to get well soon. I'm getting a package together for her, I just hope she's not so grown up she finds it silly. (Wait, I like it, she will too!)

I know what you mean about blogs, but I barely write anymore so I've not room to talk, lol.

I'm with you on the life drama front. Sometimes I'd give anything for a bland ordinary existence.

Hope Beanie recovers soon and you'll show those future employers what for.

People don't know when to stop looking for the tiniest fault!

Can you not use the word "descrimination?" Are there no overweight people currently working in hospitals in the States? Surely these people would suffer from being on their feet at the end of a long hospital day.

I can't believe they would not have taken into account your successful externships. And that if your foot were to get in the way further along down the road that no one would have said anything to you at the time.

It's plain NOT FAIR.

Not to mention your excellent academic records! They should be headhunting someone of your capacities!

man says that blows....and i say....americans with disabilites act....if you have done well in another similar environment...they can not legally judge your future performance by that....oh and don't quote me...but...i know i am pretty damn close to the truth of it...<3

I'm an old stick in the mud who much prefers catching up on WDC blogs to snatches of information on Facebook. Good to see you back and it sounds like things are going well. Good luck with your new job.
