Not sure how much I'm going to blog, but this will be a great place to regroup, think out loud and share my experiences.

Well, I'm a wee bit under the goal but not still writing. I think the hardest is trying to type it after I write it. Going to make an effort to make up the time when I'm not working 9 plus hours in the clinic.

Enough whining, there's still a story to tell, a song to sing.....

7.  <biting my cuticles> Where's the cookies?ID #673939

All these questions in my head. Will I be able to write? Will I fall I asleep with my pen in hand? Will I have enough to write about? Is the story strong enough? Is there not enough sex? Is there too much sex? Forget it....<breathes deeply> just 36 or so hours to go....Where's my pens? Not the black ones, the blue ones. Do I have enough cookies? Cookies are my binge food. I think it will be my staple this next month.

Thank GOD my honey is aware how committed I am to this process and project.

6.  Descriptive vs DialogueID #673840
Posted: 10-30-2009 @ 1:49 am EDT

Just 3 more days and the writing frenzy begins. I'm excited and hopeful that my new "structure" in writing won't mess with my pantser mix. <shrugs> I guess we'll just see what we'll see.

I love dialogue. It's what keeps me reading. I wonder if anyone besides me skips through the myriads of shades of leaves in a story to get to the dialogue. See, that's why I don't write description well, I just seem to forget to read about it. <giggle>

This year I will work on filling out my scenes and bringing my readers into my story visually not just audibly.

A friend once told me. "You see the scenes as you are writing, just remember to show me what you see."
