The following is a series of shorts exploring the characters of Alan and Kynan from the campfire: "Waylon's Crossing"  At the time of the campfire, they have been friends for several years.

But before that ... well, this is an attempt to get some of that down. I had this originally in a static item, but then I looked at it and was like, 'man, this is huge!' Not sure if I originally intended it to be so long ... hmm. So I decided to break it up and explain where I was going with the excerpts as I wrote each one. It's kinda weird. I feel like I'm writing fan-fiction for my own stuff.

Anyways, I hope this makes more sense now! Probably still got some more to write, and I've been thinking about going back and doing some stuff for Azil and Karadur. I love Azil, probably my favorite not-even-a-character character. heh. Anyways, enjoy!
