Out of the Blue
        by Acme  (acme@Writing.Com)
I have the happy good fortune to resemble the 70s version of Jeff Lynne, at least with regard to hair and appropriate grooming.

When I first met my partner we engaged in one of the most out-of-date arguments in which I've ever been involved: who was better, 10cc or ELO? Hailing from Manchester, England, I was very firmly on the side of 10cc, but... ELO are an insidious band and it wasn't long before they burrowed into the music of my soul. At first it was humming, which turned to whistling and, invariably, singing when tipsy with more vigor than the National Anthem. I still feel like "Cheaters" are going to get Kevin Godley to chase me down the street, hurling betrayed obscenities at me. None the less, the soundtrack to my life from that point on has revolved around this LP. Once a Cheat, always a Cheat? Very possibly. I've recently found myself humming to The Killers *Rolleyes*
