You have given me a great many ideas for when my husband eventually fails at something. I keep getting warnings about it but I haven't really been paying attention to them. *shrugs*

Who else but you could make a trip to the ER with a groom-to-be son who has an axe fettish and injures himself sound like fun? Perhaps you should wrap the boy in bubble wrap the night before the big nuptial event. Hmmmm?

Good luck with all the wedding fun and stuff. I'm not good on the INSIDE with all the revelry a secial occasion denotes. Would it be rude of me to admit I'm kind of glad my daughter broke up with her boyfriend of 2 1/2 years? I was starting to see a wedding in their future and had been experiencing little panic attacks.

I know. I'm a terrible mother. Who likes to avoid "formal events."

Well I hope your son doesn't have any visible lumps, bumps or bruises that will need to be photo-shopped out of the wedding photos. Great blog workout. Hopefully when you come back you will be full of amusing tales of the wedding and family that will provide fodder for many, many blog entries to come.

Glad your son is okay and you have plenty of firewood for the upcoming winter season...or did he bust it open before the first cord was cut? Enjoy the wedding...at least its not you saying I DO again, right. And give the frying pan to your son's new wife.

She'll probably need it.
