Good point, why aren't we dealing with the homeless and hungry. Isn't the nation's capital leading the country for the most homeless per capita? That might have required her to get out among some dirty, nasty people though. I don't see that happening. It is quite obvious the First Lady and Our President are NOT in tune with the struggles of this America.

Okay, lets face it folks! No Matter what profession you are in, the NEW GUY always says the guy before him sucked! It's the American Way! So, quit complaining and address the problems. We as Americans are not really asking for miracles, we are asking for progress. If they need some assistance and recommendations......ask the guy on the corner looking for a job. Stop out sourcing America!

Ok, first of all, Childhood Obesity has been an issue for administrations as far back as I can remember. To me, this seems a topic or job to keep the First Lady busy! All right, now, Child Obesity goes back as far as we can remember. They (the establishment) can blame cable tv, fast food, video games etc....it makes no difference. Hell, I dealt with it as well in middle school. However, that was more due to me being able to get candy bars out of a machine for a dime than exercising.
Now, if the First Lady needs a job, let her deal with the homeless and hungry.....let the fat kids eat!!!

Duststorm, I just keep unpeeling the onion and layer after layer it stinks worse. A friend in Florida told me a month ago her boyfriend's credit card was cancelled for no reason. He had a healthy limit and always made the payments on time. BUT he didn't use it very often, which is the case with my mother and father. They used the card and immediately paid it off. I think they got rid of as many GOOD credit people as they could. Why? So they could in turn give out another credit card with an even higher interest rate. They have systematically ruined American credit and all so they could charge higher interest. It is ridiculous. What do we do, we bail them out. Sorry for the soapbox but this isn't just affecting here at home.

Paige, I am sorry for the loss of your mother. It is never easy to adjust to the loss of a loved one. This BAIL OUT is making me madder and madder at our government and the public that supports it who thinks they are going to get MONEY. We are already getting screwed and it is not going to stop here.

This is another topic that really gets under my skin in reference to the Bail Out and Big America. Not only is this unsat in the handling of your fathers account but it is a slap in the face to the working American. Big America will send it to a collector and then write it off next year. Just one more way in which Big America is spending our money. On top of that try talking to most of their workers on the phone? You get some guy in India named Habib that you cannot even understand.
Getting a card in your name is always the best route to take. My Mom did it as well. So when Dad passed away she already had something in the form of credit. Credit lines are just one more way in which Big America rules and influences the working Americans daily life.

It seems to me that the ones who made the mess are allowed to just take the tax money and keep doing the same things that got them in the mess. They're rotten.

Sorry about your losing your father. My mother also died in November.
