This book has been placed on hold, probably indefinitely. In attempt to take the mythology from the Twilight series and make into an alternative form of vampire, this book as been received more as a Twilight fanfic, which wasn't my intent. This is my first real delve back into writing for many years. I was inspired when I ate through the entire four book series of Twilight. I am excited about writing again, and I hope to find a solid group of readers that will help me develop the story in my head to something that many can enjoy reading!



Quick plot synopsis:

A young woman is changed to a vampire after a mugging that nearly kills her. The coven she is born into only feed on the scum of the earth (muggers, thieves, rapists, etc.) They live on the outskirts of modern day Portland

Despite her "food" being only lowlifes, she is torn from killing humans now able to feel their emotions and her intense desire to feed. After a disturbing episode with her "food" she escapes from her coven, only to find the man that ties her to her old humanity. When he finds out what she is, she has to make the hardest decision for any Vampire in love with a human: Kill him or turn him.

*I plan to break chapters into scene chunks for easier editing purposes by labeling in the title a, b, c.

*I tend to over use certain words. If you notice a word being overused please tell me so that I might find better suited expressions.

*Also the vampire's name is Aldan. If I spell his name Alden, please point it out.

*I am in the process of switching the book from present tense to past tense. Sorry for the confusion!
