This is going to be a blog. No, really it is. I think I should try it. People have told me I should try it. *shrug* Maybe I just want something where I can write down my thoughts and such.

It's funny, I read somewhere that she originally intended to kill Arthur Weasley and ended up killing Lupin instead. Honestly I wish she'd killed Mr. Weasley instead of Lupin, it's like she was saying none of the Marauders could live and be happy.

I was a bit afraid I would get all kinds of flames regarding this post from people saying I needed to grow up and realize that life isn't always happy, but I was so angry this morning that I couldn't stop myself. And I feel better for having written it.

I'm happy you agree. My favorites of the series are indeed the first three. I loved learning more about Snape, but ultimately, she let me down when it came to his character.

Thank you SO much for saying this. I was just thinking about this the other day. I read all the HP books. I think JK Rowling was getting off on all the publicity she was getting by saying a character would die in the next one. However, I think that once she started introducing all the killings, and once her books started being more dramatic instead of lighthearted and fun, the quality of the entertainment value went down somewhat. The first three are what I consider quintessential Harry Potter, then each one afterwards gets increasngly less impressive.
