My mom was equally incredible. I can see her, seems like a thousand times, nursing the current cut or bruise on my leg, foot or hand...then giving me that kiss I'd die for. She "stepped over" to God's side this year. I feel her close every day.

Mothers and teachers have eyes in the backs of their heads! You will not be getting an"F" in my class, young lady! LOL Had to sound teacherly there for a bit. I like the idea of passing notes between fellow students. You've been traveling with a friend on a slightly different path than perhaps the rest....and, how do you know, perhaps they are passing notes and throwing spit wads at the teacher. And they aren't getting "F's" either. Now, if I am the one you hit in your homonal state, perhaps then we will have to sit down and talk about that grade. LOL And, please don't take it out on Sam. (smile) Write a pissed off poem perhaps...put in all the "bad words" and send it by e-mail to someone who can take it. Pack a punch in words perhaps. GRRRRRRRR! You can send it to me if you've no place else safe to send it. You may hit me now, but fight fire with fire...give those hormones the ride of their life! Make em work for you and to hell with what anyone else thinks!!!!!

I'm with you. I do not like the white stuff. My husband says that if it ever snows here where we live in South Texas, we are moving further south. So far so good. I used to live in Kansas....no more! Hibernation sounds good in such snowy conditions.

Seems to me that even in your shallow wading, you have depth in what you say...introspection. Leave deeper waters to their own devices. There are lots of little fishes and wonderful shells along the shoreline. Perhaps it is just time to look for simple pleasures.
