Hello kattwoman,
I hope you have a better day today. Sometimes life does get stressful and we do not know where to turn. I have had such days! Yesterday I started a Blog for the first time and I felt rather confused and still have a lot to learn. I was even wondering if I should bother but I am on my way and hope to learn more and more about blogging as time goes on. I saw a lovely quote from Ralph Waldo Emerson this morning - "When its darkest, men see the stars." Take care.

Sounds like your son is normal. Age 12 is usually a good sign that testosterone will begin to be produced in the male body in amazing quantities. It would probably be helpful to have someone you trust (one of your brothers) to talk with him. You might want to discuss what information they are going to share with your son to make sure you're in the loop. This is a very difficult time for boys. Their bodies are exploding with hormones and they have no idea what is happening. Have fun.
Don't stop at the stop signs. Finish a story or poem, edit it once and enter it. If you win you win. If you lose you win cause you didn't stop at the stop signs.
Happy New Year to you as well. I hope you accomplish all you set out to do, but stop and breathe in the beauty around you for just a moment in all you do.
Merry Christmas to you, too! Wow, sounds like your family ate like kings this Christmas! That's awesome! I baked too (cookies & pumpkin bread) and we baked a turkey with all the trimmings for our houseful of friends and family. It was wonderful, BUT . . . I also got stuck with the dishes!!! Oh well, it was wonderful and definitely worth it. Glad you had a nice holiday, Kat!
well i too had that same experience.wen my mom threw a knife at me and it pierced my thigh. This happened when i was 8th grade, she was really angry at me for my attitude. Unfortunately, for me at that particular moment she was slicing onions. Great the next instant the knife hit me.I dint realize it then only after half an hour, in fact i did. But luckily it was a small wound, with 4 stitches i was ok. The reason for not realizing is the trick of our nerve cells, endorphins etc.anyway its very funny na.
What's the story? It's been 8 days since the last blog. First you ask for readers then you get the most interesting man in the World to read your blog and then you don't blog for 8 days? Oy vey
