I created this story in 5th grade and now I'm going to 8th. The best way I can describe this book is by watching Step up helped inspired me but the I had to recreate it so I wasn't copying their work. Like I said, I started in 5th grade, so it might be shackly at first it but will developed. This it a rough draft so any advice would be helpful. Hope you enjoy it.
Characters
Nikki Cole- The poor girl in the story. Her parents were murdered right in front of her eyes when she was 4 years old. Ever since then, she been living on the streets with her foster parents and taking a part-time job at a high that she's going to. She's not completely irresponsible but does slack off from time to time. Because she grew up from he streets, she has a tough attitude sometimes working against her.
Raymond Johnson- The rich boy in the story. His great-grandfather was a traveler and discovered many valuables that eventually became money. Even though he's not 18 yet, his parents give him small amounts every once in a while just because. He's actually not very shallow or cares much about the money; he just wants real friends and a good partner.
Brooke and Sabira- Nikki's friends since they were 6 and her dance partners. Sabira is the voice of reason while Brooke is less talk, more action, going girl. They're inseparable and even though their opposites, they love each like sisters {which they aren't}.
