They grow up really fasts so treasure these moments. It sounds like you are.

My younger brother lives about two hours away and we really don't see each other as often as we should. Lately, with mom's illness, we've reconnected. My wife and I drove my parents to my brothers last weekend and we spent Friday, Saturday, and most of Sunday with them. We had a good time.

Oh, you're gonna love this class! I took Psych of Personality in college and it was amazing and interesting. One thing the professor made us do was write our life story and then analyze it. It was half our grade! That was both the hardest and most rewarding assignment I ever had.

And yes, I agree completely with SummerLyn Guthrie. It's like Ron White says - "you can't fix stupid." And Douger makes an excellent point as well. Personally, I think we're all a little crazy. The real geniuses figure out how to make it fun. Like writing - that's a great way to release the inner madman in yourself. I think artists of all types have found a niche to turn those quirks into creative inspiration.

Hello Shellyville,

I have the windows open! November 8, the house is wide open to let in the fresh breeze and the unusual warm weather.

Wow!

Mother Earth is giving me a little fall treat today! I love that woman. I keep wondering what I have done for her lately. I am sorry to say, not much.

I have used her water, walked her land.

Traveled her forest, climbed her mountains and swam in her lakes.

I have basked in her sunlight and took shelter from her rain.

I have tasted snowflakes on my tonque.

I have washed my hair in the wind.

I have counted the stars and played hide and seek with the moon.

I took it all for granted.

Never believing it could ever end.

Have you loved your Mother today?
