As mankind evolved from ape, so too did another species; nephilim, man’s nocturnal, carnivorous cousin. The two species met, resulting in cases of human-nephilim hybrid offspring that would later become known as vampires. However, the nephilim were lost before written history as their aggressive behavior led to their eventual extinction.

The Dark Heirloom Series tells the adventures of Jenna Marx, a young woman from Chicago, whose reality is ripped apart when her life falls into the hands of four very dangerous vampires.

Jenna Marx’s heritage means nothing more than a natural tan until she becomes a vampire and her Romany blood gives other vampires reason to fear her. The creatures are not supposed to exist; yet here they are, holding twenty-four-year-old Jenna hostage and interrogating her. As if she had any clue how she became one of them without being bitten.



In her struggle to control her newfound powers, Jenna accidentally releases an ancient vampire king whose desire is to turn the human race into cattle and regain dominion over his kind. King Apollyon finds Jenna’s strength and powers fascinating. He’s positive her gypsy blood is responsible for her range of abilities and wants to use it to create a new generation of vampires.



Jenna is determined to send the egotistical pseudo king back to Hell, but first she must discover who, or what, is responsible for her transformation. And she must do so quickly, before Apollyon figures it out first.
