I am attending Baker College. I will blog about my experiences class and student life. My experiences may be different from normal college students, because I am beginning school again 14 years after high school. I have four children and a husband outside of school. Follow me through my first year transition from being a stay-at-home mom, to becoming a full time college student.

This is my first weekend of the second quarter of my freshman year. After my volunteer time at my children's elementary school, I spent the entire rest of the day working on maps of Europe, Canada, and America. I finally finished just before midnight, and decided I needed to redo the Europe map because it was too sloppy. I went to staples and spent $13.24 on clear lables, which he said was permitted, so it will look neater.
After going to the store today, I took my homework and my four children to a school district, that is not thier own, so my son can sell candy bars. I attempted to work on my note card for geography, but I only was able to get four done because: my youngest daughter kept kicking the seat of my oldest, my son had to let come to the van between each house to let me know how many he sold, and my youngest two daughter decided they both wanted to talk to me at the same time which just created a shouting match. I now have a head ache.
Here I am now cooking dinner, readying the house for my daughter's birthday party tonight, playing mediator, and trying to slip in a few minutes to get a few problems done in math and a few note cards for geography.
I'm going to scare away anyone thinking about going back to school aren't I?
