I am attending Baker College. I will blog about my experiences class and student life. My experiences may be different from normal college students, because I am beginning school again 14 years after high school. I have four children and a husband outside of school. Follow me through my first year transition from being a stay-at-home mom, to becoming a full time college student.

When a cold sets in, all I want to do is cuddle on the couch with a hot cup of tea and watch movies that make me cry. Unfortionately, I have a mid-term exam thursday. When faced with what I want to do to get better, and what I have to do, I try my best to compromise. I put on an uninteresting movie, cuddle on the couch, and study my notes. The words all run together after a while, but then I can watch the stupid movie for a few minutes till my head clears a bit and study again.
My ear hurts again. I've lost count on how many times over the last three months that I've had this pain in my ear. Unfortionately, I have not found time to set up an appointment. Classes for myself, choir practice for the kids, safety patrol, dentist appointments, and everything else that goes with taking care of four children. My husband has been adding to my loss of time lately with meaningless trips to wherever he feels like going at the time. I know he just wants to spend time with me, but I'm feeling a little neglected myself. Hopefully I don't have to wait five more weeks to get my ear checked out.
