Hope everyone had a happy thanksgiving. We haven't celebrated ours yet. My husband had to leave for California. We celebrated my daughter's birthday, because he wouldn't be here for it Monday. She was happy with her presents and made her wish (that Ben would go out with her). We will celebrate Thanksgiving next week. This is going to be tough because I have tests and have to study for my finals. And finish my 8-10 page paper. Oh my. Is it Christmas break yet?
 

I went to my financial aid office today. Because I do not need a Ti-83+ calculator I do have enough for my classes and books next quarter. It's very close, but covered. Hopefully I can get used books so I have a bit left for any needed supplies. I have a couple essays to write for scholarships. If I even win one of those, I will be sitting pretty. Thanks for all the luck.
 

I know my classes are covered next quarter, but I'm not sure about books. Heading to financial aid today. Wish me luck.
 

There is a girl in my geography class that does nothing but talk and text. She is failing the class, because she does not pay any attention. The talking and texting is distracting and I have talked to her about it on several occasions, but she still insists on chatting with her friend next to her and texting. She doesn't have to worry about financial aid because her parents pay all her bills. Her parents need to stop paying for her to fail. She needs to wake up and realize that she's not in high school anymore.
 

It was another long weekend. My son woke up early yesterday with a fever. It took all day with giving him tylenol and motrin to keep it down. He was doing much better today, but all that pent up energy from sleeping most of yesterday had to come out today. Which ment he was annoying by making noises, picking on his sisters, and talking nonstop. It was good to see him well though. The young ones are sleeping and my teenager is just climbing into bed. I'm looking forward to a bath tonight.
 

I am supposed to be working on my essay due tuesday, but poetry is just so much more fun. Check out my new love poems. The just might warm you up a bit.
 

I registered for next quarter yesterday. My classes were not that challenging so I added more credits. I have a total of 16. I am excited about trig. I can't wait to start already. All the awesome writing classes were only available online, and I don't want to do online classes.

Besides the trig class, I'll have oral communications;internet and the world wide web, like I don't already know about it; powerpoint, wish I had taken it before my geography powerpoint presentation; and American political systems.

Even with having 5 classes, I won't have a lot of homework outside of class. The ease of the classes worry me, but the amout of credits eases that worry a bit. I don't want to do all my easy classes and have a quarter that is overwhelming.

Now that registration is done I have to focus on financial aid!

No fever today which is a good sign of healing, but man was she whiney! The one thing I hate the most is whining. I missed class today, but I did a lot of work on my powerpoint presentation. I have to plan a dream vacation and include the places where I'm going, the prices, how I'm traveling, where I'm eating, and how much I'm spending on other things. Its a lot of research to figure out how much a taxi cost in Italy.
 

Every parent attending school knows that this day will come eventually. My youngest is sick with an ear infection in both ears, and flu-like syptoms. Her fever is staying on the low side now, but I am mom so I want to keep a watchful eye on it. I'm going to miss geography, and I do worry that missing the lecture will effect my test score. I also have a paper due that will now be late, because I will not be there to turn it in. :(
