These are just my bullish opinions about world events, books, movies, website behavior and TV that I will jot down as they occur to me.

Here I am contemplating what I will write in my Blog:

They do not reflect the opinions of the herd or of anyone else on this website - just me and my human, Hooves O Fire! .

Sometimes I will write as me (HOOVES) and sometimes my human will stick her big butt two cents in.

Most of these entries will be short I hope. I deleted my old blog because it was started way back in time. Since I have been here eight years tomorrow, it is time for fresh hay.

New hot tip from the UK. Being Human is about to film its third season. It's an underground success, full of drama, horror and a little bit of wit. In fact, the set up sounds like a comedy, even though it's nothing of the sort: "A vampire, a werewolf and a ghost houseshare in Bristol." If you notice it stateside, I can highly recommend it

And well...about a month ago, another author Africangirl , but I can't seem to find her blog, nor her as an author on WDC anymore) gave a detailed review of this movie, The Lovely Bones, and she, like you gave it a poor review. Thank you for the confirmation and saving me a few dollars.

I don't know much about any of them. I have never really stayed up past 9 p.m, unless it was for a Ceremony or company that stayed late, but I have heard a bit about the goings on of these people. Apparently they are duking it out with words, but as I understand it, if this Conan quits, he will not be allowed to work for several years<?>..something with his contract.
And well...I hear a lot of negative about NBC, although I am not a real television watcher, if you couldn't tell!

I have enjoyed Pawn Stars and a few shows, but nothing else much. And I think I need to go on that show "The Biggest Loser"! I need discipline!

As for what this gentleman commented on. I do agree with him. You have such pleasant blog entries, that I always feel like I am coming ove to your home for a visit each time I come here. You have a very gentle spirit about you.

I enjoy your Blogs. They are down to Earth and make a lot of sense. I am not so certain that you wouldn't make a very good writer to send out to newspapers to make some extra money. I honestly can't think of the word I'm trying to say to indicate an author who writes daily or weekly editorials and adds comedy to make them interesting, but I think you have a lot of potential in this area and should look at it. There are thousands of small news papers who can no longer afford full time reporters so they will often pay for articles that fill up content that is good.

Give it a shot if you already don't do this. I think you might be surprised, but I do know you realize that it will probably take a lot of negatives along with the positive responses. If you have the voice, then look into network radio. I would obtain a manager to help you because all of the talk show hosts or newspaper correspondents who do well have a management company to provide them with advertising, PR and keep it reasonable by taking a percentage of gross income, but watch out for those who want a fixed fee or charge huge amounts for expenses. Expenses that are reasonable, are okay, but like many lawyers, they can become excessive quickly.

Have not seen this movie yet, but will see it now. Love movies like that. I also hate what Hollywood has done to us normal people. Young girls getting so skinny bacause that is what Hollywood says you should look like. They are killing us normal people.

I had a tough attitude about flu until I got it. It is like being hit by a bus in the rain. Do not get it if you can help it. The shot was not available for me, but if I could get it I would advise it.
The worst of it was the stomach part. It comes in waves. Trust me. It was rough.
I did not have the bad part with breathing, thank God - just a little conjestion.
I am ten days out from the worst of it. The worst lasted about 48 hours. Still recovering. Got it on the evening of Nov. 5. Now it is Nov 13 and I feel slightly more human again. The worst days were Nov. 7 and 8. Shudders.
Waves weakly at others.
