I've always felt that I had to explore feelings and emotions better in my writing, but I'm just not into all that touchy-feely stuff. Well, the other day I was talking to my ol dad about our cat: I asserted that he could think, and my dad agreed. I thought it would be amusing (for me) to write a blog from the point of view of a cat -- but unfortunately our cat's life isn't noteworthy. So I invented a fictional cat with a fictional life and set him to work. His name is Plato and he tries to update his blog every day, no matter how busy he is.

Sorry, all my dedicated fans, this blog will be out of commission for the month of November while i participate in NaNoWriMo (which means all other projects are on the backburner) (unless Plato Cat has some kind of epiphany he just can't wait to share, or something). So far in my offsite blog (over to the left there, CEV: Cat's Eye View) Plato has given some background information about his once peaceful life with his human, Sarah, and revealed the changes that have affected them over the past few months. Today's entry is sparse since he spent most of yesterday hiding from visitors, but he does introduce the reader a bit to his human.
