Brief Synopsis:
Mackenzie was invited by her friend to spend some time with her and her husband in Colorado. While visiting, she helps her friend with an old lodge they had bought in the mountains. Inside the lodge, she comes across a box containing unique jewelry pieces. In picking one up, she discovers that not all urban legends are false...
Target Audience: Adult, mild. (nothing explicit)
Warning: Nothing major, but I've been told by a good source that my first chapter needs some serious work. It's not that exciting and therefore lacks the ability to grab a reader's attention. So, with that in mind, please just slog through it and reach beyond. I hope to start rewriting very soon.
Notice: I have decided to open this book back up to be read. I had hoped to salvage it at some point, but I realized that it needed to be dragged to the ground and almost completely redone. With this past NaNo (2010), I learned about some serious flaws in my writing. "Whispers of the Past," as it stands right now, is about to vanish. I have no idea what it will be like when it returns, but it most likely won't be like what's here now. If you feel the urge to read a very rough draft, feel free. There's no need to leave comments on it unless you want to.
