So today was the first day of NaNoWriMo and I'm on par with the projected word count. I did happen to realize, however, that since I write at night, I actually should have started after midnight yesterday :P To fix this, I'm just writing at least 2000 words a day until I catch up.

I like having impetus to write like this. It doesn't give me an excuse to sit around and edit what I've already written instead of actually getting the story out. I also signed up on the official NaNoWriMo web page. It's got some pretty neat tools for those fellow NaNoers who are participating :).
