Take The First Step

What makes your first step a hard one my dear?
Know that your God the greatest of all will be there,
To assist and guide before your life's journey
Take the first step and I will take the rest of it.

If your love for me is less comparable to wealth
I can wait, but be in a hurry 'cause now is the time,
To worship me with all your might, mind, and strength.
I have a trust on you that you can do your best.

Take the first step to honestly forgive your enemies
I will forgive those whom I will forgive, but of you
You ought to forgive all men though it cut your heart
Only in that step you acquire solace to your soul.

Don't be weary in doing good things for they
Lay great foundation and add oil to your lamp,
For where your treasure is, there your soul also
Take the first step to love one another as yourself.

Wishes Granted

An abounding love for me and for everyone
Where hatred is no longer a word or a feeling.

Be more forgiving and not easily provoked
Subsue my heart with Christ-like attitude.

To rise above the blue and possess inner strength
With this I will be happy and have contentment.

More wisdom with an understanding heart
By this I see everything in proper perspective.

Prioritize others if they are more needful than myself
In this way my patience is tested and improved.


 

Thought I lost my nerves
to see I was feeling okay
and yet runny nose
and cough clothed myself
how then could I look into
a judge-mirror?

Better yet I grabbed
a chair, pen, and paper
write here, think there
worse come and need
to look for medicine
ah it's lunch time again.

White hairs are spreading
need to color it again,
contact lenses expired
run to the nearest shop
no money on hand
debit cards nowhere to help.

The Blitz Poem

The Blitz Poem, a poetry created by Robert Keim.
This form of poetry is a stream of short phrases with repetition and rapid flow.

Begin with one short phrase, it can be a cliché. Begin the next line with another phrase that begins
with the same first word as line 1. The first 48 lines should be short, but at least two words.

The third and fourth lines are phrases that begin with the last word of the 2nd phrase, the 5th and 6th lines
begin with the last word of the 4th line, and so on, continuing, with each subsequent pair beginning with the
last word of the line above them, which establishes a pattern of repetition.

Continue for 48 total lines with this pattern, And then the last two lines repeat the last word of line 48,
then the last word of line 47.

The title must be only three words, with some sort of preposition or conjunction joining the first word
from the third line to the first word from the 47th line, in that order.

There should be no punctuation. When reading a BLITZ, it is read very quickly, pausing only to breathe.
