I can see Lovecraft writing this on a birthday invitation I love that you made it so true to the author. Very smart!

Okay, in all fairness to me, perhaps if I could hear the names of some of his works, it might just jiggle my memory. Besides, I might just want to read something of his now. You know I do love to learn new things. And, if it's weird it's probably right up my alley.

H.P. Lovecraft, eh? Funny, I don't think I've ever read any of his work either! And everyone keeps telling me to do so. Methinks your entry just might be that final push I need to actually pick up one of his books soon.

Uh... Hi, Snow. Very clever... I think. I mean the way you told this tale from the viewpoint of the famous . . . Sci-fi author? Poet? ehhhh. Okay. Go ahead, laugh. I admit I have no clue who this is. However, since you gave him a real birthday, a real name, and real parents, I think he's somebody famous that I am too stupid to know.

You really did do a great job with the story, though. Very creative. Just because I don't know him doesn't mean it's not a good story. It just means I'm too stupid to keep my mouth shut, and you have all already noticed that about me anyway.

Aaahhh. . . Joy will come along any minute and rescue me from my own stupidity. She always does. She and Lornda look out for me, you know.

Nice job on this entry. For a minute I wondered what was in the cake and whether or not the ones eating it would survive. Good job on creating the tension in this.

Wasn't sure if this was supposed to be scary tale or comedic especially with Sylvia's last line. The kids really should learn how to hold their chocolate. Goodness!

I found this story a little spooky but very heart warming at the same time. I echo what Pat said; Rodger is always there, looking at life through the same lens, side by side for eternity. sweet
