Good job on descriptions--the knitting, cuckoo clock,and the various items in the room. It gives us a view into what it might be like to have a twin sister, who who is distant after an accident.

This is very poignant. It will touch a bit too close to home for a lot of people. Even a subtle layer of bitterness and self pity can erode family relationships. Unfortunately, Grammy’s wasn’t too subtle. It blinded her to the fact that someone else was also hoping to be remembered. Great job team mate!

This is a sad story of two twin sisters who have grown apart following an accident, but mostly due to the bitterness of one of them. It's a sad turn of events when the bitter sister is the one who forgets the birthday in the end. I agree with Barbie when she says she hopes that you continue the story. I would love to see how you would develop it. Great job!

To think that Grammy was so upset because it seemed that her birthday was forgotten and at the end we find out that she forgot that it was also Lilly's birthday as well. I hope that you continue this story as that is one woman that needs a major wake up call.
