Prologue
Ellie awoke to the pleasantly warm feel of her boyfriend Liam’s arms wrapped tightly around her. They were in her bed, but no, nothing had happened. Except cuddling, of course, and some steamy kissing. Much to her great disappointment.
He was still asleep. She could tell by his slow and steady breathing. She wanted to savor this moment forever, to just stay wrapped in his comforting embrace forever. But, no because a lovely moment later, her alarm clock went off, blazing at an irritatingly loud volume.
Ellie felt his hand go from lazy to gentle where it was resting on her hip, and his breathing change. She made an annoying sound and attempted to smash up her alarm clock, but a gorgeous, tanned hand stopped her. Ellie turned her head and gazed into Liam’s breathtaking dark brown eyes. She smiled and ran her fingers through his mess of brown shaggy hair and kissed him lightly on the lips.
“Morning sleepy head,” she said, still gazing into the eyes she couldn’t get enough of. Ellie felt as if she could just fall and get lost in them forever and ever.
“Morning beautiful,” he said with an amazing smile. He stroked her cheek and brought his lips back to hers. It was as if time just stopped when they were kissing. It robbed Ellie of her breath, and made her feel beautiful and full of a fiery passion.
But Liam insisted that they couldn’t do anything else but this, which basically meant no-where past second base. Why? Because Liam just happened to be twenty years old and she was only fifteen, nearly sixteen, she’d kept insisting. Ellie knew how her parents would feel if they knew about any of this. Not very happy that’s for sure. But none of that mattered to her, because Liam was the one. She knew it. She loved him so much she would die for him. He was gorgeous, sweet and just well...plain amazing and he was all hers. Forever. They’d decided not to tell anyone until she was sixteen because technically according to English law, it was against the law to go past second base with someone of Liam’s age, and her parents would kill her for going out with an older guy. Even though Liam had really stuck to that law, no matter how much she’d insisted it was fine, it probably still wouldn’t matter. Her parents didn’t even know they were even together yet, and she wasn’t sure they wouldn’t hate her and Liam forever. But it didn’t matter because they’d go all the way, because nothing could ever tear them apart.
