I have a dear friend who I keep at a distance. It's better that way ...for him! Seriously. Still, we are friends and that matters a world to me.

I love your positive attitude. People tell me I'm attractive ...but I never believed it in the past so it's hard to accept.

I had to deal with that last line this past year. Yes, someone wanted me who was more-than-worth it! But lack of acceptance ... on my part.

Ouch. He may just have been desperate ...maybe everyone else had said no. As for me helping anyone... I'm lucky that no one asks.

I have played a version of that game as well. It's one I never win. Then I overcompensate with the hope-will-never-die game. That too has a price.

I've only been back 9 days ...8 long days, one day of sunshine... I'm tired of winter already! And yes, I want to take a nap ...right now!

In other snews: I couldn't resist using your blog title as part of an entry using blog titles!: "An asteroid has hit Shellyville!" 

I'm sure there are some days you feel like an asteroid has hit ...or worse; yet, you always come through!

Ouch ..."and especially those you don't". Yep. Great advice. A little bit of kindness on VD goes a long way for those of us who don't particularly have fond memories of past VDs.

Love definitely has it's own strength!
