Prompt for January 11th, 2013: When was the last time you remember laughing so hard your sides hurt, your smiling muscles were sore, and your eyes were tearing up? What were you laughing at? LOL! It was late at night and my son and I were so sleepy. We were both falling asleep and he said: Mommy I want to go to sleep, and then he said the funniest thing. It was a mixture of words, with no sense at all, but it was so darn funny. We realized at the same time the crazyness of his words and started laughing so hard, but at the same time, trying not to laugh at all because my mother and sister were both asleep and we didn't want to wake them up! We had so much fun! Laughing and covering each other's mouth with our hands trying not to make noise! The best laugh ever! We laughed so much we weren't sleepy anymore! After that we couldn't fall asleep at all, always repeating his crazy word and laughing!!   Take a look at the Group

Prompt for January 10th, 2013: Gay marriage? Yes? No? Do you care? Why? Love I think everyone has the right to love and be loved, in spite of their sexual preferences. Your question has two kinds of answers in my opinion. If we take into consideration the religious point of view, or what the bible stablishes, gay marriage would be wrong and not accepted by any circumstances. If you see it from a different point of view, not from a religious point of view, I would say yes. Like I said when I started writing this entry, everyone deserves to be loved no matter what. Who has the right to tell other human being they are NOT entitled to love or be loved because they don't like or don't approve your sexual preferences. I wouldn't! I think that's a very personal choice and I don't feel with the right or power to condem them. I have friends who are gay and they are people and human beings just like you and me. They are not aliens and I get really mad every time I see someone making fun or being cruel to them. I think behaving like that IS wrong. We shoul love one another not matter our sexual preferences. Prompt for January 9th, 2013: Do you belong in this day and age? Do you feel comfortable being a citizen of the 21st-century? If you do, explain why — and if you don’t, when in human history would you rather be? I would rather be ... I would rather live in the little house on the prairie.  I LOVE that serie. I really like the way they communicated with each other. How everyone worked together and the families loved each other and spend a lot of time together. Liked the way the schools worked and the horses, farms and activities. I would really love to be a part of that time and way of living. I would miss the internet of course, but I would prefer to walk through trees and climb mountains and be surrounded by nature, rather than living in a house behind bars because of the criminality and being afraid to go out at night, because they can kill you or rob you. Prompt for January 8th, 2013: If you were told to "Leave town" tomorrow and everything you left behind would be taken care of for the next month, where would you go and why? (You cannot go to live with relatives.) Gone If my son is in good hands, to the point in which I could feel at ease leaving him behind for a whole month (something that I've never done and can't picture myself doing), I would go to the Secret Garden. I would live on that place and visit the secret garden every day. I love nature. Being surrounded by nature heals me and I feel happy. I would spend hours on the swing and just laying on the grass all surrounded by flowers and listening to the birds. That's such a magical place! It would be a dream come true! For me that would be the perfect escape! The Secret Garden!    Today at Winnie's Crazy World! Still trying to get used to the new glasses! I can't believe it! I'm dizzy! Its awefull. Its worst than before! Ist it suppose to help me instead of making me sick!!! If this continues I'll never put those on my face again!  I feel aweful!Take a look at the Group

| Rainy days NOT for me! |

Prompt for January 7th, 2013: Persuade me why you appreciate rainy days. Rainy days NOT for me! I really don't like rainy days! Not at all! I think it's related to when my son was a little baby. He got sick all the time. He suffered from eight pneumonias and he couldn't even be out when it was raining. The cold weather from the rain would make him sick for weeks, even months! That's why I kinda hate rainy days and everything that have to do with them. I do appreciate that because of the rain we have water, and vegetation and - -- LIVE! We depend on it to live. I prefer drinking water besides other kind of liquid! But rainy days ... They are not for me! On other news: I got my pair of glasses today! I CAN SEE!! I'm so happy! The only thing is that when I'm standing and walking I see the floor kind of weird. Like if there were a hole or something. The eye Dr told me that it was normal and that with time I'll get used to it. I hope! So happy! And I finally got to wear my new pair of sneackers! Hope you had a great one! | Prompt for January 3rd: Do you believe that incorrect spellings and grammar are acceptable in creative forms such as poetry? No Spelling/Grammar Horrors I don't think that incorrect grammar and spellings should be accepted in any form or writing. As a Spanish speaker I tend to sin on those two, but I do my best to become a better writer and learn everyday something new. I believe in free verse, and I enjoy writing those kind of poems. | Some kind of Amnesia |

Prompt for January 2nd, 2013: If you could give any person in the world one gift (money and time are no obstacle), who would you pick and what would you give them? Some kind of Amnesia If I could do that, I would choose my son. I would give him the ability to forget the pain in his past. That he could erase from his mind and heart all he has been through with his father. That way he wouldn't be carrying with such pain inside of his heart at such a young age. That way he could be a child and not an adult inside of a tiny body. He could be happy in EVERY singe way. I know that deep inside he is in pain, even though he doesn't show it. Every human being needs to feel that his parents love them no matter what. I am an adult and I still crave for that feeling. It hurts so much to have that empty space. I don't want him to feel that way, but I know he does. I would definitely gave him the ability to heal and fill that empty space with forgiveness and love. I pray and wish that someday he can manage to heal and have the strenght to forgive his father. With time I know he'll get there. For those of you who don't know; my son and I are both survivors from Domestic Violence. These last two years have been very difficult, but also great steps towards our happiness. We are enjoying every moment!! Without him by our side we can BREATH!!! And that's enough to make us happy! | Improving my Writings |

Prompt for January 1st, 2013: Write about the area of your writing you would most like to improve. Improving my Writings As a Spanish speaker I have problems with my spelling and grammar. I think that my worst is my grammar. I tend to mix up the tenses and other things while I write. Sometimes I still think in Spanish while I'm writing in English and that makes it more difficult for me. I love writing in English. I like how the words sound and I also enjoy the challenges it brings. I love to learn each day something new! For sure, the area that I would love to improve is my grammar and spelling.
