Author's Note:

This was co-authored with Wyrm and Owen K.C. Stephens (he wrote the initial module and I've included him as co-author as I used some of his prose in the introduction), as part of an online dungeons and dragons campaign. I've cut out all the machinations of the d20 system and tried to present it solely in it's narrative form. Playing this game/writing this story is what ignited my desire to actually write instead of thinking about writing. What started as a cut and dried and very simple RPG module soon got out of control as my fevered imagination took over.

There is swearing, bad jokes and insane humour contained herein. Also, a rollicking good adventure and a crazy, endearing angry halfling sheriff named Randolph Holdenbottle.
