A conspiracy beginning in the Spirit World, using reincarnation to plant the seeds of Armageddon for humanity. Zarad and Aloli are soul mates caught in a web of paranormal intrigue as the Cycle of reincarnation is threatened by forces in the Spirit World and the embassy of the living known as Soul Census. The Spirit World's Elder Council splits the bond between Zarad and Aloli. Aloli is forced to reincarnate on Earth, without Zarad at her side. Zarad in turn is put on a special assignment that will guarantee that the two will remain apart for a long time. Meanwhile on 1930s Earth, newly inducted Soul Census Agent, Willem Maddock, who is busy trying to fulfill his mission of collecting "lost souls", must decide where his allegiance lies-- with his superiors in Soul Census... or with the exiled souls of Zarad and Aloli. |
