The Children of Perdition
Neil McHenry becomes convinced that he is the embodiment of God's wrath. |
|
Neil McHenry is driven back home by a dream involving the destruction of the town by what he perceives to be the "breath of God". There he gradually becomes convinced that he is a prophet of God, anointed by Him to deliver the wrath of God with just a touch on a world crippled by sin. In the midst of scathing judgment, sometimes the beauty of redemption becomes more magnified. The search for meaning is riddled with uncertainties, mysteries, holes, and, very occasionally, a splendid depth of meaning all of its own. |
