Hmm, the fact that you don't actually remember what the duck says makes your dream so much more interesting to me. Just think about it: the duck could be saying ANYTHING!! It is like a little mystery. He could trying to tell you the secret to life . . . crazy stuff.

Lol, I'm glad you're not neglected. Sometimes, dreams show us things that are related to our waking life only because they are completely opposite. For example, a person in a content relationship may have dreams that they are cheating. This does not mean they have the subconscious desire to cheat, only that their dreams are letting them live a part of their life they may never have lived normally. Interesting they way dreams work.

As a young boy and well into my adult life I have had regular vivid dreams. I don't seem to have them nearly as often in recent years. I have also been able to recall these vivid dreams in detail. It's like watching a show on TV then recalling the episode to a friend who missed it. I once shared a particularily disturbing dream to a friend, who just completed his doctorate in psychology. His first comment was, "that's incredidible that you can recall your dream in such detail."

You've busted me on the setence from the book though... That sentence was repeated over and over again during my dream, many more times than I wrote about. The thing is... I remember every word except for the last word. It was never clear. Maybe that is why it was repeated.
Alice has a duck, and the duck says ________. I inserted the word "quack" but can't say for sure how that sentence was completed.

Also...I'm not neglected at all. I'm actually a pretty lucky guy.

Awwwwww That's sad Joel. Sounds almost like you regressed to an earlier stage of development when you were a child and longed for the embrace of a loved one. Feeling neglected?
