Sticking Up For You

Two little girls smiling and giggling having lots of fun,
Opened the drawer and unrolled the tape undone.
Their eyes sparkled and they were having a ball,
When the older sister taped the other to the wall.

She taped each arm with two strips that were gummy.
Then she put three more pieces over her tummy.
One more stuck across her leg quite tight,
While the older girl held the roll with all her might.

The youngest was taped to the wall like a decor,
Then they heard their Mother come through the door.
She saw the mischief both of the girls had gotten in,
And removed the youngest from the wall with a grin.

Two Lover's Shadows Across The Sand


Shadows fleeting cross whispering white sand

Lover's footsteps follow, walking hand in hand

Down lonely beaches under a streaked blue sky

To rippling ocean waves crashing shores nearby


Seagull's wings spread and filling the sky above

Sun's orange radiance shining down with love

Two gliding over the water's green foam

Laughing and splashing the further they roam


Lying down in each others arms in the night

Lips soft and tender giving kisses of delight

Awaking with smiles on faces to the dawn

Starting new journeys with memories to go on
