18.  Let Me FreeID #315583
Posted: 11-25-2004 @ 7:58 pm EST

You break me on the inside

After years of tears shed

and all the lies you lied

I am begging you please

Crack the walls that hold me

Let the chains fall to the ground

Set my broken soul free

Let me live my little life

Please I beg of you...

17.  A Fairy on her RoseID #315580
Posted: 11-25-2004 @ 7:52 pm EST

The fairy hiding in the garden is scared
The world around her is ever-changing
No one takes time to believe anymore.
She is growing weak, hiding in the roses
Her colors fading, her body now pales.
Once the magical keeper of beauty
Now only a drying drop of rain-
She'll make her final resting place,
The leaf of the pink rose she loved.
When she passes so will our innocence.

16.  With their dog...ID #315579
Posted: 11-25-2004 @ 7:50 pm EST

An elderly couple walked along the lake
Throwing a frisbee for their dog Jake
Fifty years of love and still holding hands
Eyes no longer strong enough to see
One replaced hip and one replaced knee
Fifty years of love and still holding hands
They look old to all those passing them by
But their love is still young, never to die
Fifty years of love and still holding hands

15.  Early Morning WalkID #315576
Posted: 11-25-2004 @ 7:39 pm EST

Sun dances through the haze.
Vibrant colors all ablaze.
Carpets of green and blue,
Wrapping around aging trees,
Glimmering with dew.
Mother Nature's comforter,
The moss, silently grows.

14.  Distant AffairID #315574
Posted: 11-25-2004 @ 7:35 pm EST

The distance between us is beginning to tear at my soul,

The love this heart holds can not bear much more.

I have tried to leave you, I have tried to forget you

But I find myself lost in your written words.

And again I long for the chance that we might meet along the way.

Am I hiding from a real love as I engage in an online affair with you?

Is it easier to say someone is waiting for me than to find a love I can see?

13.  Insignificant MomentsID #315573
Posted: 11-25-2004 @ 7:32 pm EST

Our rainy afternoon

nestled in a lovers' embrace.

Our bodies never moving

as our minds begin to race.

My head resting sweetly

upon your naked chest.

We laugh about the past,

Your fingers through my hair,

and we discuss the future.

Sweetly the hours pass,

night once again upon us.

A wasted day of nothing.

With moments that seem

to be insignificant to some...

for me a day lying next to you,

has meant the world to me.

12.  One single tearID #241832
Posted: 5-16-2003 @ 9:40 pm EDT

This one single tear
Is a sign of fear.

A fear deep inside,
I always lied.

Nothing is wrong
Reoccurring lyrics to my song.

The love that was, is no longer here.
All there is, is this one single tear.

I get so sad
It is hard to act glad.

Remembering the love.
Watching the birds above.

The clouds rolling by,
I never needed to cry.

Now I lie here
With this one single tear,
Filled with fear...

I cry!

11.  Is it time...ID #241831
Posted: 5-16-2003 @ 9:39 pm EDT

We spent another night yelling
Our words of anger and hate
We never use to talk this way
Our hearts will fall, at this rate

Is it now time to say good-bye?
Is there no more love left?
Is it all at a loss?
Is there no more "Us" left?

We loved
We laughed
We cried
Now we fight…

10.  YetID #167749
Posted: 5-17-2002 @ 4:03 pm EDT

I close my eyes to dream.
I see a man that I met once…

His hands showed how he worked…
Yet were, oh, so gentle to the touch…

His eyes showed the life he had lived…
Yet were full of unseen wonder…

His voice was strong and firm…
Yet caring and kind…

His words were full of wisdom…
Yet looking for untold meanings…

His kiss was short…
Yet full of passion…

His presence was brief…
Yet he will stay with my heart forever

9.  To My LoveID #167425
Posted: 5-16-2002 @ 2:31 am EDT

You know the silence that starts at dawn.
That's where I will always hold our love.

You know the laughter, waves make, hitting the shore.
That's where I will always treasure our joys.

You know the song, the wind sings among the trees.
That's where I will always place our journeys.

You know the tears the river sheds to the sea.
That's where I will always leave our troubles.

You know where the day says hello to the night.
That's where I will always embrace our love.

You know the sparkle you see in my eyes.
That's where I will always show 'I love you.'

8.  Their LoveID #167424
Posted: 5-16-2002 @ 2:30 am EDT

There is a soothing wind blowing a cool breeze throughout the night, as two young lovers find themselves amongst the crowded city streets. Their eyes light up, enchanted by their lovers’ smile. The noise around them begins to become muffled by the rapid beating of their hearts.

They begin to move through the crowd, closer and closer to the warm, caring arms that are awaiting them just a few feet away. Their eyes never wander from each other, though people cross in front of them.

Then, as if no time had past, they are united and the rest of the world vanishes around them. He looks into her eyes and sees her heart. He knows right where he is supposed to be. She looks at him and yearns for his touch. She knows of the safety that his arms hold. They embrace each other, knowing the peace they share will help the rest of the day’s problems drift away.

Without saying a word, they turn and begin walking to their home. Their footsteps seem to move with each beat of their hearts. They need not say anything, just hold each other close. The silence they share is as enlightening as the fullest conversations they have had.

It is the unsaid story of their love and is treasured by both. Holding on to each other as tightly and lovingly as they can. They continue on their journey, making sure none of the outside world gets between them.

They come upon their little house, which is just outside of town, face one another and smile again. They have little to show for the hard days that they have spent working. But it never seems to matter once their hearts connect, and their little home becomes a castle filled with songs of love and laughter.

He opens the door, letting her walk in, but never letting her touch leave him. She enters the house and turns to him. They are now in their world and no one was going to enter. He reaches for her, their lips meet, embracing their love with open arms.

Soft music
Gentle rain
Crackling fire
And champagne

Rolling thunder
Playful night
Racing hearts
Lovers delight

Enchanted smiles
delightful sin
Warming touches
Glistening skin

Sudden chills
Trembling desires
Passions soaring
Raging fires

Soft music
Gentle rain
Crackling fire
And champagne

6.  Please ListenID #167393
Posted: 5-16-2002 @ 1:38 am EDT

You are the one, whom I deeply love
but too many twists this loves made of.
Our hearts are true, but they can’t see,
Eventually we know this love can't be.

I see it all, though you hide it well,
Our love is causing, a living hell.
So please listen to what I say,
Look past our love and walk away.

Know now wherever your life may go
There’s someone will always love you so
Please place our love down deep inside
Our true feelings we must always hide.

We must now hide our love and our pain,
And we may never, ever see each other again.
Please listen to what I have to say,
Its for the best, and needs to be this way.

5.  Passions LostID #167388
Posted: 5-16-2002 @ 1:25 am EDT

Our passion is lost
With the words we fight
But the true cost
Is we’re alone tonight

Our arms left
With the hatred we made
It's truly saddening
The high price we've paid

Our love is lost
With the anger we share
But the true cost
Is no one will be there

Our love dying
From our lack of care
Two heart crying
Still no one is there

4.  I SaidID #167386
Posted: 5-16-2002 @ 1:20 am EDT

I said “good bye” today!
Good bye to our love
Good bye to my heart!

I said “sorry” today
Sorry for loving you so
Sorry for having to let you go!

I said “no more” today
No more tears will I shed
No more hearts will I hurt!

I said “good bye.”

3.  Our LoveID #167385
Posted: 5-16-2002 @ 1:18 am EDT

Lay your hand in mine.
Lay your head upon my heart.
Let us pause time.
Let us never part.

Place yourself next to me.
Place your heart in my trust.
Let the entire world see.
Let all around us lust.

For together we can be anything;
For together we can make everything new.
Let our love forever sing.
Let our love always be true.

2.  WhenID #167384
Posted: 5-16-2002 @ 1:16 am EDT

I sit here looking at the starry sky,
I find myself wondering why.
Will I always be the one you leave in your mind?
Will I always be the one left behind?

You love her…
You love me…

I sit here looking at the snowy night,
I find myself losing sight.
Will I always be the one you might love?
Will I always be the one you dream of?

You love her…
You love me…

I sit here in the wildest rain,
I find myself once again in pain.
Will I have another year pass us by?
Will I always be the one to cry?

You love her…
You love me…

When will you need only one?
When will you hold only one?
When will you dream only one?
When will you love only one?

She loves you
And so do I…

The wind that once was warm...
Is now cold.
The flower that once was colorful...
Is now old.
The love that once was strong...
Is now broken.
The song that once was sung...
Is now unspoken.
