As of the writing of this introduction (June 1, 2002), my folks, our minister, a longtime friend of our minister, and I are only a week or two away from "officially" becoming the owners of a development corporation.

We all find this to be quite exciting, and I've decided to keep a journal here of our progress, starting with a little bit of nostalgia. . .
