A peek at the REAL Thumbster

This was one of the first items I wrote when I came to what was then called Stories.Com. This is your only offical Thumbsucker viewing access opportunity...so find yourself a keyhole and have a look inside my world.

I wrote my first poem as a laugh after responding to a junk mail. Had I known there were sites like this where I could write stories, I doubt I ever would have written a poem.

I don't consider myself a "real" writer and I certainly don`t consider myself a poet. I feel comfortable with the label "storyteller".

From what I've seen, "real" writers and poets take what they do very seriously and are passionate about the artform.

I'm not really interested in structure, rhythm, flow, plot, character development, etc. I'm the guy among the orchestra blowing bubbles. I respect what others do, we just have different goals and motivations.

The 1 to 5 ratings are wasted on me. I DON'T MIND COMMENTS but I don't want to be influenced by what the majority likes. I like being a free spirit.

I write for myself, coz it's fun, that's all.

Shine on.

Thumb
