I surf many websites..seeking advise and seeking ideas from many sources.Sometimes, a quote or some kind of saying..hits home..or gets my creative juices moving..Here's a quote with no author behind it, I found on lablaugh.com..
The only way...
The only way you truly fail is to stop trying altogether.
I want to be a writer...but I get writer's block and stress..kills my creative sense..so I seek....Thank you
Boredom can be a killer to the muse. I try to read, watch or do something original, out of my ordinary choices when I'm bored. It can help spur the creativity....
I've wandered away from magazines lately, but I still love bookstores. One of my favorite places is a hole in the wall second hand bookstore I stumbled across one day while trying to kill time before a dentist appointment. A lot of people think second hand bookstores are bad, but to me they're a treasure - kind of like a hidden gem.
You're so right about Second Life being a great place for writers. I've been active in SL for nearly a year and because I found so many possibilities for writers, started a blog about writing opportunities and resources there -- http://www.writersinthevirtualsky.com -- which has a lot of suggestions for things to do, and more coming. It's a fun, inspiring place to be and full of fellow writers.
It is a bit addicting isn't it? I have the most fun here than any other site. I know what you mean about the creativity. People write things in here I'd NEVER think of and I wish I had.
Once a weekend is over, a new week starts. Possibilities start all over again. Sometimes, loneliness goes away. Ideas flood in. Feelings get less blue. Just being busy all over again, helps! Thank you for the question, sorry I responded so late.

I guess since absolutely everything influences us (and it really truly does), I guess the true me is always changing in small, often unnoticeable ways, from the experiences and people I(we) interact with. Interesting question you have posed.
When I went to Cape Cod, I brought back two cape Cod books. Once Upon Cape Cod and Cape Cod Lucky by Dana Eldridge. Very two cool books. Interesting facts about Cape Cod in the books. I think, when I travel to anywhere I have never gone, I am gonna pick up a book or two about where I visited. Happy Trails and Happy writing. plainsue
I had a great weekend with a group STI at Cape Cod. All singles. I took a greyhound all the way to Hyannis, MA. How do writers get their information or ideas..by taking rides like that! Everyday is a bus ride. You see all and hear all. Cape Cod was a great place If I was a writer or painter on one of those sand dune shacks..I would go nuts. But isolation does a writer/painter good. Awesome beuticful!Happy writing to all. plainsue

Hello to fellow writers! I am empty. Not sure why. Feelings, creative power, spirtual..everything feels empty. Not really sad..or full..or mad..just empty. Keep writing! plainsue
Revising and rewriting is hard and painful. Sometimes, it's necessary. Kind of like life is. Our worlds go thru so much revision it is crazy for some. And normal behavior for others. Is it like change? I do not like change. plainsue
