The phrase, "A Noisy Noise Annoys An Oyster", may have been coined by Dr Seuss, the famous expert on rhymes, who wrote the first Gerald McBoing Boing cartoon story in the 50s. In the episode entitled "How Now Boing Boing" the phrase, "A noisy noise annoys an oyster" is written on a wall. The wordplay is typical Seuss: A noise-y noise a-noise a-noise-ster.

I was gone apartment sitting for two weeks and now I'm back. Why are there dirty dishes?

I guess some folks could get use to most anything. Planet-skipping would take some getting use to.

Cats and mothers are important. I would agree that you have your priorities right about that. My mother would agree. And all the cats-of-the-known-universe know this truth too.

Me? I'd rather be known as a writer than a launderer or someone who always kept his grass nicely cut ... (what an obit )

But life intrudes. I do understand the laundry part. I feel for you there. If you had unbounded wealth I would say send it out! But you'd probably have to give up some annoying habit ... like ... eating!!!!!!

So ... one does what one can. Me, you, the universe.

Any way you can sneak in some "me time" on a daily basis? and still get some sleep?

My life has been blah by comparison. I'm forcing my self to do everything. Been apartment sitting and all my body wants to do is sleep. Not a bad thing, but I don't get much done that way.

At least you are there for your mother. You are both very fortunate.
